DO NOT GO HERE. SAVE YOUR TIME ENERGY AND MONEY.
On May 29 I called and spoke to a manager and went over my worries regarding a dermal piercing I have ( a piecing that’s internal, rubber external ) I explained that I’ve been on a raft like this before and many exceptions have been made at parks due to it being “rubber”. Rubber external piercings in no way can pop or puncture anything as it’s LITERALLY RUBBER. So anyways I called and spoke to a “manager” she said she would confirm with another supervisor “a man” and they both confirmed that as long as it’s not metal it’s fine. (I explained it was metal internally but none externally). Anyways, I went ahead and my friends and I purchased 3 Tickets to the water park. As soon as we purchased them a confirmation email popped up saying no piercings no exceptions. My friend was rubbed wrong when she saw the no exceptions so she proceeded to call back and confirm one more time that this is an automatic email and that what we just went over was fine, she also ended up having to text the number directly as they answered then disconnected half way through the call. The company then tried to say “oh no, we never said that and we’ve spoken with all managers and there are no exceptions”, we said okay what about people who have rods in their knees? Internal metal is a “no no” ? I got on the text/phone literally said I see photos of girls with 3 inch point stiletto acrylic nails but a rubber external piecing is a no go after someone ALREADY just explained to me it wasn’t a big deal? I immediately asked for a refund as I didn’t even want to do business with these teenagers at this point. They told me “we’ll go ahead and cancel your reservation if you’d like but you agreed to a no refund policy”. Who in their right mind would agree to a no refund policy for something like this especially when it’s out of state? I told them I NEVER agreed to this, I never clicked anything, it WASNT in there terms and agreements, and due to the fact that the entire trip was planned around their water park, we most likely wouldn’t be traveling to that state. I was basically told “lol there’s nothing else we can do” and they just tried to keep my money. I researched them online and that’s when I found out ALL THE MORE false advertising they had going on. Beautiful clear lake? You mean filled with dead fish and an algae issue that causes people to get sick? Literally hospital type sick? 50 people at a time on the raft? You mean 200, and you’re lucky if you’re not standing around for 99% of the time waiting to get on anything? Saying rubber was okay so we’d book tickets then go oh no sorry? Not to mention NO covid guidelines WHAT SO EVER. They wouldn’t help me at all so I called my bank. Upon disputing with my bank I explained to them how I was wrongly informed, and bought the tickets based on false advertising due to ALL reasons mentioned above. 3 weeks later my bank reversed the dispute and told me that the company provided them with their policies and said I agreed to them, which I didn’t, and that there was no way to get my money back. So the company says I was a “no show” and won’t offer me anything, said I can fight for credit but I don’t live in that state so what good does that do me? Our entire group is out $200+ from these IDIOTS. I’ve already spoken with a lawyer and they say with the amount of complaints online a small class action is possible so we’ll see where this goes. I will not allow these idiot kids to keep my money when if I was told ANY of this in the first place I wouldn’t of touched their website or company with a 50 foot pole.

Read moreOkay, so.... Didn't know this place existed until we were doing a time share meeting and the time share rep let us know where it was. So, I go online to look for the place to spend some time there with the family since we were in Vegas. The online booking process was pretty straight forward and not difficult to book. TIMING is key. So, the information is kind of convoluted after the online booking process and there is also apparently a texting process involved also that is not mentioned on the website which I will mention later. First, I looked for a promo code to save some money (who wouldn't, unless your rich and you don't care to waste money). Oh and make sure you change before hand, bring towels, sunscreen. There is a bathroom but we had to ask where it was and was more of a 1 person bathroom. I found a promo code online at travelincoupons, then I asked about a military discount through the text service I found trying to call them. The military discount was only 5% (only 5%? Not that great of a discount for veterans who have put their life on the line and families that support their veterans), (company FAIL). Moving on...so I just used the more valuable 10% from travelincoupon website. We get to the lake and I get to the counter to sign us in and I was thinking I was going to sign some PAPER liability forms for my family but apparently, you have to do it online. Apparently, there is also a text option, so I try the text option waiver forms and got locked out and after sending the wrong text message (company FAIL). So, here I am signing the forms on my smart phone because the iPads they had were slow to respond to my inputs (company FAIL). Frustrated at this point and copious amounts of people hanging around waiting for their turn. I had four people, my wife, myself and two kids. Apparently, one adult and two addition persons can be signed on one online liability waiver. So now I go back to my online app to sign my own liability waiver form but the watersport website stated that I can sign up to five people on one liability waiver form (company FAIL). Oh, did I mention the additional question you have to answer on the liability waiver, yes you have to refill out the name, name address, how you found about us…yada, yada…wasted time. I get through the process and I was ready to receive our dang wrist bands, and wouldn't you know it, we got one wrist band each, apparently I was supposed to get two wrist bands each for the two hours I paid for but the staff at the lake told us it was okay since the ticket counter jacked up the process and assured us that it was not our fault. Got to playing on the lake equipment and once you fall in the water the lifeguards harp on people to get back on the equipment, apparently you have a time limit (a few seconds) to hang around swimming in the lake (company FAIL fun). Having just small swimming goggles would be great for eye protection but those are not allowed either. Two hours is more than enough time, after 1 hour your tired. Had a bit of fun. The equipment is hard so be ready to feel sore if you bounce off them when you fall. Two stars for the inconvenience of signing waivers and the ticket counter slowing the process down with not finding your name and giving us the wrong amount of wristbands and the life guards telling you to get back on the equipment and not really having a place to wash off and...
Read moreI am only responding regarding the electric boat rentals -- other attractions may provide a different experience. While our experience with the boat was fine and we enjoyed our little cruise, I was very frustrated with one major thing. AFTER making full payment and accepting initial terms you get an e-mail that includes repeated statements that there are no refunds whatsoever. Even if weather prevents you from taking the boat out, you get a credit, not a refund (never mind that you may be visiting from out of state, or even out of the country). Now that you've paid and been informed that there are no refunds, you have to complete the "boaters contract" which states, among other things, that you cannot enter the water from the boat or go in certain areas (e.g., near the shore). This is an artificial lake that has other water sports that involve bodies in the water (e.g., paddle-boarding, the aqua park, etc.). There is no reason for this, other than they don't want the seat cushions to get wet -- and incurs a $300 fee if violated. This was a huge problem for us, as the only reason we rented to boat was that my son really wanted to go swimming in the lake and we thought that would be no problem given people were swimming all over the place. But... now that we knew the rules (disclosed after paying), we couldn't get a refund. I'm not sure that's even legal, let alone ethical. So, we went out in the boat anyway and made the best of it, but it was still a negative experience. Bottom line, ALL RULES and conditions should be disclosed before taking a non-refundable payment. It is highly unlikely that we'll return...
