I recently visited Da Remo at MonteLago Village in Lake Las Vegas, and it was an absolutely stellar experience—hands down a 5-star gem! Tucked into the charming, Mediterranean-style village, this coffee shop is a perfect blend of cozy vibes and top-notch quality. The moment I walked in, the warm aroma of freshly roasted coffee and the sight of the lake in the distance had me hooked. The coffee selection is phenomenal. I tried their signature cappuccino, and it was perfection—rich, frothy, and made with obvious care. They source their beans with intention, and you can taste the difference! They also had a great range of options—lattes, cold brews, and even unique seasonal specials that tempted me to order a second cup. The pastries were just as impressive; the almond croissant was flaky, buttery, and paired beautifully with my drink. The staff at Da Remo were incredible—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about coffee. They took the time to chat about the brew methods and even recommended a perfect pairing for my taste. The service was quick but never felt rushed, and the atmosphere was so inviting—cute tables inside with a rustic charm and a patio overlooking the lake that made sipping my coffee feel like a mini vacation. The location in MonteLago Village is unbeatable. After grabbing my coffee, I strolled along the cobblestone paths and enjoyed the stunning lake views—it’s the ideal spot to relax and recharge. Da Remo elevates the whole experience of Lake Las Vegas with its quality and heart. I can’t wait to come back and make this my go-to spot! Five stars all the way—thank you, Da Remo, for a truly...
Read moreIf you don’t mind rude service you can give this place a try. The two ladies taking our order and serving us were extremely disrespectful and unpleasant. They got part of our order wrong and then blamed us. When we asked for the correct order they said we had to wait until they made the tickets that were placed after us (and this was already after waiting for 30 minutes for one cappuccino and two Bellinis). We ended up getting to-go-boxes for the food we did get because we didn’t want to stay there. Definitely have no intention of going back
REVIEW UPDATED TO RESPOND TO RESTAURANT: what you have replied with is not accurate. We waited 30 minutes to receive our drinks and two orders. When we asked for the missing third order you told us we didn’t order it and it was our fault. Because of this the third member of our party went back in to place an order for a croissant sandwich. She had to change her order to an omelet because you told her you were out of croissants. My aunt, who went into help her, then asked if you could make the missing order next since we were all waiting to eat. You told us you had 10 orders ahead of ours and you would be doing those first. Good customer service would have been an apology for the confusion and making the meal next so we could eat together. Instead you proceeded to tell us it was our fault and you would not accommodate our request. I’ve never seen such...
Read moreMy wife and I live local, and we wanted to try this spot. It reminds you of a small cafe you might find in Europe. Overall, I thought the food was great and that justified the price for me. They make just about everything fresh.
I got the omelet platter and stuffed it with everything they offered. Plus, it came with a link of sausage, a hash brown patty (not home made which made me say, "Meh"), and some pretty thick toast. Not small portions here at all. Worth the $18, IMO.
My wife got the caprese avocado toast. She was definitely happy with it, but it had a side-salad that they put thousand island dressing on. She's not a fan of that. But we know for next time to ask them to leave the dressing off or change it out. Again, good portions. Nice balsamic reduction.
Lots of pastry options -- quiches, croissants, Danishes, etc.
Cappuccinos were nice, too. Small place inside. Three tables that seat four people, and two tables that seat two people. However, lots of seating right outside by the water. Nice place to eat and chill. Staff was really friendly. Definitely a spot...
