Fantastic spot! Found this place by accident by walking around the quaint cobblestoned village, we had previously internet searched places to eat around Lake Las Vegas and Le Cafe Du Lac never popped up. The cafe has indoor or outdoor seating overlooking the lake. The menu is quite varied with plenty of sweet and savory options. So far we've eaten here both mornings during our stay at the Hilton. Day one: fabulous croissant egg, swiss and bacon sandwiches (that came with a nice mixed spring salad). Delicious! Day two: buckwheat galette savory crepe with egg, baccon, and avocado (so wonderful!), and the quiche du jour (I choose salmon, but could have had bacon) and again delicious with a light flakey crust and creamy interior. This time we also tried a nutella latte (perfect and not overly sweet), as well as one madeline biscuit... very good too! Items range from 95 cents to around $12.00. Our breakfast sandwiches and salad were about $7.95 a piece, the quiche du jour and side salad $6.95. The prices for the quality of our meals created with fresh baked croissants and with a view are superb! P.s. Staff was wonderful and helpful, the establishment was also very clean and tidy, I would eat here every day if I could. I...
Read moreWent down to LLV to spend the morning on paddle boards on the lake. We had about an hour to kill before the water sport rental place opened. We roamed around only to find that every restaurant was closed! Thankfully, we made a loop around and saw that Le Cafe Du Lac was open. From the moment we stepped through the front door, I was pleasantly surprised! The service was wonderful; the ambience was pleasing; everything was very clean and orderly; the food options were so different than anywhere else! I opted for the iced americano ans berry crepe, and my friend had the avocado toast. All the food was so beautifully presented and delicious. The food took about 15 minutes or so, but was definitely worth the wait; there were many patrons there. Le Du Lac was a great experience from beginning to end. They're doing it right! I'm glad we happened to stumble upon this great little place (admittedly by default, due to everyone else being closed), but I will absolutely be back very soon! I'll definitely be sure to tell others about this...
Read morePastries and sandwiches delicious. Flavor combinations really stand out. The avocado toast with fresh greens and a medium boiled egg on top was the most fantastic I've ever eaten. I've also had the Lorraine quiche. Prices moderate. Coffee w free refills. Positive: Water sports, Cafe right on the waterfront
Negative: Sparse shops and bathrooms at Montelago Lake Las Vegas. Parking in the garage is far but no viable option otherwise. Main hotel Montelago has been closed down for years probably since 2014 or 2015. People must endure the hot walk through the past the casino to the Village and down allot of stairs there are a couple ramps too, then past the nonexistent business to the water. Right there is Le Cafe Du Lac. THEY CLAIM THERE ARE NO BATHROOM IN THE ESTABLISHMENT. LIAR. There is one single stall. Perhaps the directions are inappropriate for a restaurant review but ADA restricted people or people who cannot walk up and downhill this is definitely not the...
