Medici Cafe & Terrace — Restaurant in Henderson

Group of 8 dining in tonight. I ordered French onion soup and it came cold. Second cup came even colder— so much so that the cheese was hard underneath the hard bread. There was only very little broth in the second bowl. I ordered the 8oz filet mignon on medium. I got a medium rare steak that was well seasoned and soft. Beware—- the plate comes with a giant half bone with marrow and it’s not described that way on the menu.

Meats for other meals were undercooked and the waiter had to ask the cook for things our meals should of come with (like sauces and cheese).

Our waiter started out great but I think he knew the kitchen was lacking so he was very brief when checking on us.

For the prices they charge, I would eat elsewhere....

I ordered the Artisan cheese charcuterie and the caprese panini with a side of sweet potato fries. The panini was spectacular! I genuinely enjoyed it so thoroughly, I cherished every bit of it. The flavors; the generous portion of tomato, mozzarella, and basil, just detectable! The sweet potato fries were also very good, great flavor and texture. Lastly, the meats and cheeses charcuterie was delicious! I loved the tiny honey jar that came along with it, so I could choose how much I wanted, which allowed me to balance the flavors with each bite.

Came for a family dinner and our host/server Christopher was amazing! Super friendly, accommodating and brought out our freshly made soup sooner than expected and was able to get the kitchen to do the substitutions we were hoping for.
