Village Green Antique Mall — Local services in Hendersonville

Went here today for the first time based on reviews and photos from Google. Very nice set up, very well organized and very clean. There’s a hidden little book section upstairs with a variety of books from Southern to arts to military. It’s a high end antique store in my opinion. Lots of China, silver plated flatware and serve ware, cabinets, tables and glassware all with a pretty hefty price. It’s hard for me to understand the prices without any history on the items though. Like a wooden box would be $395, and the tag would just say “ornate wooden box.” Almost all items are labeled similarly which is disappointing, because I’m sure there is a good history for each piece. That’s the fun of collecting antiques for me is knowing the history or even a date/era of a piece. Overall it was nice to walk around and look at all of the beautiful items...

This is one of my favorite places in town. I love to browse and love it when something speaks to me. It's a beautifully set up shop. While it is filled with treasures, it's not so crowded that I'm afraid to reach for something. The owner and staff are knowledge and helpful. Book lovers! -- The hidden treasure of this store is in the upstairs, at the front of the store. There are enough old books - including some first editions - that you can easily spend an hour or more perusing.
