Its hard to give this facility more than 2 Stars, and for many reasons. Firstly, I can sat that the Customer Service is actually great! The employees here are great to deal with. Now, areas where they struggle are as follows: PARKING. It's horrible. Even though there's an additional parking structure, along with another open-air lot across the street, the adjoining structure is too small, and the last thing you wanna do after a late night movie or meal is walk the extra distance. I know that's a small detail, but when they force VALET upon you on the 2nd floor in the evenings, that just adds insult to injury...especially towards permanently disabled people like myself. TITAN TC LUXE Theaters, with DOLBY ATMOS. Some of the pricier tickets to purchase...boasting amazing sound to go along with reserved seating and reclining seats. VERY disappointing. The dozen or so times I've purchased these tickets for my family of 5 this year alone, the volume was too low; the dialog volume has been so low, that you can't hear it over the crunching of popcorn! I've actually mentioned this to the staff several times, yet nothing is ever done. I can easily help you locate a volume button, if you'd like? CONCESSIONS. When a theater plays late night movies that end between 12am and 130am, how could they charge a fortune for beverages that are self-serve, then SHUT DOWN the beverage fountains at 11:15pm every night? This policy is ridiculous, considering a customer pays the high price for beverages with the expectation of a refill later throughout the movie! I could see them doing thay maybe 15 mins prior to the END TIME of the LAST movie showing...but 11:15pm? I just took my family to watch the 10pm showing of Avengers: Endgame, that didn't let out til after 1am! This policy needs to be...
Read moreThis establishment never ceases to amaze me. It's amazing how I bring in a paper cup full of ice water that I just wanted to finish before watching a movie and 5 employees surround me and yet, someone can bring in a cigarette and begin smoking it in the middle of a movie and security won't do a single thing. It's amazing, truly amazing! I had no idea a paper cup with ice water in it was more of a threat than someone smoking in a theatre. I went home after watching mad max wheezing and nearly went to the hospital because someone was smoking in the theatre I was in. Of course I went and filed a complaint the minute he began smoking but, no one did anything to help. If you ask me this theatre needs to work on handling certain issues with people who are being rude in audiences. On numerous occasions Ive seen people drinking alcohol in them, using phones throughout the entire movie, and Ive even left with some mud in my hair and bruises from people plopping their feet on my head. Of course each time this happens I complain but no one ever does anything. And since I mentioned the water incident I will take this time to apologize. Im so sorry Ward Stadium 16 for brining in a small cup of water that I intended to finish in the front by the drinking fountains, next time I'll be sure to be considerate of your policies and everyone else and bring in come...
Read moreThis review pertains to the new Whole Foods and the old Big City Diner. We arrived just after noon. Parking inside the structure was surprisingly easy, especially as it was a Sunday. Big City Diner was one of the best Family restaurants for a long time after it opened. Unfortunately, over the years their service and food quality deteriorated. Fortunately, the Ward area BCD remained very good. Unfortunately, not so any more. Look, we're giving the omelets a 3 star. So they're not bad, just nothing like they used to be. The country potatoes were greasy and the kitchen was inordinately noisy-constantly clanging and banging of dinnerware etc. We were disappointed. Then there's the new Whole Foods. Clearly they are having a real struggle getting qualified staff. I have never felt so frustrated about getting what should have been simple questions answered. Then there was the hot food bars. The shoyu chicken, mashed potatoes and Cole slaw were not fresh. So bad that I ended up throwing most of them away. This same problem has evolved at the Kahala Mall WF, but at least they started out good years ago. Today, if you want good food and service, go to the Kailua WF. Why can they provide a quality service team and good fresh food and their...
