Midway Vacations — Attraction in Honolulu

Our recent stay in Oahu, Hawaii, during the month of August, was an absolute dream come true, thanks in large part to the outstanding service provided by Midway Vacations. From start to finish, this experience exceeded our highest expectations and left us with memories that will last a lifetime. The apartment provided by Midway Vacations was a true gem in every sense (although a little dated - Waikiki Banyan 3808 T2 ). First and foremost, the location was simply unbeatable. Situated in a prime spot that offered both breathtaking beach views and convenient access to the island's attractions, we couldn't have asked for a better place to call home during our vacation. The well-equipped kitchen was a delightful surprise that added a special touch to our stay. It's not often that you find an apartment with a kitchen stocked so generously with modern appliances and an array of cookware. This thoughtful amenity made it easy for us to prepare meals, saving us time and allowing us to fully enjoy the flavors of Oahu. One of the standout features of our experience was the reasonable pricing of the accommodation. Considering the prime location, the impeccable cleanliness, and the level of service provided, we felt like we were getting incredible value. It's clear that Midway Vacations is dedicated to providing exceptional experiences without breaking the bank. We also liked the fact that Netflix was included and the Smart-TV in the unit allowed us to login into our personal streaming service provider. Speaking of cleanliness, the apartment was spotless upon our arrival. The attention to detail and the commitment to maintaining a pristine environment did not go unnoticed. Walking into a clean and well-maintained space truly set the tone for a comfortable and relaxing stay. What truly sets Midway Vacations apart, however, is the level of care and attention provided by the hosts. Throughout our stay, they were incredibly responsive to our needs and inquiries, making us feel valued and well taken care of. A particularly noteworthy aspect of the apartment was the serenity it offered. Despite being centrally located, we were pleasantly surprised by the absence of outside noise within the unit. This allowed us to enjoy peaceful nights of sleep and a tranquil atmosphere that added to the overall relaxation of our vacation. While our experience was already exceptional, we do have a couple of suggestions to make it even better. It would be fantastic to see sturdier beach chairs provided for guests, and perhaps the addition of a beach umbrella. We were so thrilled with our stay that we decided to purchase a beach umbrella ourselves, which we left behind for the next guests to enjoy. In conclusion, our stay with Midway Vacations in Oahu was nothing short of spectacular. From the unbeatable location to the well-equipped kitchen, reasonable pricing, cleanliness, attentive hosts, and the overall sense of tranquility, every aspect of our stay was carefully curated for an unforgettable experience. We are immensely grateful to Midway Vacations for making our vacation so special, and we are already looking forward to our next opportunity to stay...

Let me just say that Midway excels in customer service and to top that off the place we stayed in was amazing! We stayed at the Waikiki Banyan and the view was perfect! We had a gorgeous view of the ocean and Diamond Head. The living room quad panel sliding glass doors opened to the length of the room to let the wonderful breeze in which made a huge difference. The condo itself was VERY clean & tastefully updated. A few things to note that: this room was updated & they did NOT skimp on the updates, they are VERY responsive if you have needs or questions, and you can ensure that you are going to have all you need for a wonderful vacation! The king size bed in our unit was soooo comfortable as were the pillows and bedding. The appliances ( even pots, pans, and utensils) were all very high quality. The fridge was cold as was the room upon arrival. There were zero issues or concerns about pests (we’ve heard of issues in HI but NONE here). We slept at ease each night. Water temp and pressure for showers was just right. We even had some extras in the room that weren’t expected- beach chairs, cooler, etc. We loved the convenience of the door code to go in and out. The Waikiki Banyan is the perfect location in my opinion. It’s near the canal, yet, a short stroll to the beach or any other shop/restaurant you might want to visit. Parking was included (no extra charge) and that made a huge difference for us! There was always a spot available and it was so convenient. All of the staff were pleasant and the 6th floor has a pool, bbqs, etc. There are laundry facilities on every floor and they even have an app you can use to load $ and track progress. Hands down I’d stay here and /or use Midway again. We’re already planning our next trip and hope to book through...

Short: Great location close to beach and many other Waikiki activities. Nice view, clean room and building, easy parking after the first time. Trash chute, recycle and laundry just outside the room.

More details: Location - great location, close to Waikiki and lots of other stuff. Only a long city block from the beach and close to the canal on the other side. Corner unit had us hearing others very little. View - Nice view of water and almost get the sun hitting the water at sunset. Maybe in summer time the sun shifts for that. Cleanliness - the building and condo were very clean. Parking - parking was pretty good. Security said park anywhere on the first 5 floors, all of which have easy access to elevator. We were usually able to park on floor 2 or 3. Lower you park the faster you get back out. AC - A/C was good. Better in living room than kitchen or bedroom where the fan in the closet helped to distribute. Trash - super convenient trash chute across the hall. Recycle - I was delighted to find glass, aluminum can and plastic bottle recycle bins there as well. I’m an avid recycler and recycling on Oahu can be a little tough. Laundry - laundry room on the floor is right next door to the condo. I was worried about sharing a wall with the laundry but it has reasonable hours and I didn’t detect any noise from the machines. Travel cooler - there is a travel cooler in the bedroom closet which we used several times and it was super convenient for porting around drinks and snacks. Hot tub + pool there are two got tubs along with the pool. The hot tubs are usually a bit busy in the evening and the pool notably less so. Appreciate that the hot tubs are actually rather hot like they are...
