Scaventour — Attraction in Honolulu

We did The Safe tour with Scaventour in Waikiki and had such a fun morning! The tour includes 16 clues, but we took our time with it—very leisurely—and still managed to get our 10k steps in (Fitbit approved!). It was the perfect mix of puzzle-solving and local history, and we ended up stopping at places we’d normally walk right past without a second thought.

Not only was the content thoughtful and creative, but the staff was super, super friendly—the kind of people who genuinely want you to have a good time and aren’t just reading off a script.

Highly recommend for families, friend groups, or anyone looking for a fresh, engaging way to explore Waikiki beyond the beach and shops. Bonus: no need to sprint or solve a cipher in under 30 seconds—this is the chillest escape game you’ll ever...

My friends and I did the Lost Key challenge to celebrate a birthday! The game master was very patient, kind, and helpful! He also gave us a lot of options to choose from that would work with our time constraint. This particular challenge was a fun way to explore some parts of Waikiki and learn some history in a competitive and puzzling way. We (group of 7) decided to work together in a single group, but you can split into groups as well to make it more competitive! I'd recommend it to others and would come back to do the other challenges...

We had a high school volleyball team work together to solve The Lost Key puzzle around Waikiki beach. The players had a really fun time solving clues and touring the city.
