I was assigned to go to Best Buy by Apple care regarding my Apple (3 series) watch. I inquired to Apple care about my watch and I was notified that I could get my watch replaced free of charge. Apple has a recall on the 3 series watch due to a swelling issue of the battery that cause the screen to pop up out of no where. So the one year warranty has been extended to three years. Although the first Apple Care representative did not notify me of that I then did research. When I got to Best Buy at 6:33 for my 6:20 arranged appointment I was greeted by an associate of Geek Squad by the name Adrienne. Adrienne explained to me that the issue with my watch was my problem and I might as well replace it with a new watch, my watch in hand had no value because of the battery swelling and screen popping up. It raised suspicion for me because the rep from Apple care directed me to a location that would take my watch and allow me to either get it shipped out to replace or that I would receive maintenance upon arrival. I immediately called Apple Care about the issue I was being told at Best Buy by associate Adrienne. The new representative from Apple Care that I spoke to after feeling like I was mislead and inconvenienced by the first Apple Care rep and by Adrienne the Geek Squad rep who were telling me two different things, I thought I’d call back to get another opinion being that I had felt like I was being pushed aside with no care or concern about my inquiry. The second Apple Care rep had no clue along with the Geek Squad rep Adrienne at Best Buy what or how to handle my device...they “pretended” to look up articles, seek other opinions from work colleagues and neither had a clue. I decide to google and research “Apple Watch series 3 battery swelling”. I kid you not over 10 articles pop up on the recall and extended warranty of this device. I was flabbergasted, I walk back into Geek Squad at Best Buy to show Adrienne the proof that the first Apple Care rep who told me to get free service had to be talking about this. Adrienne shrugs his shoulders at me and tells me my warranty is out and he can’t extend. So I leave Best Buy feeling unaccomplished, inconvenienced, and lied to. I had already left work early to make this appointment and got stuck on the side of toad trying to get to my assigned appointment on time due to lack of gas. So I was already frustrated and tired. I called Apple Care back and notified them about the articles that I found and notified them about the horrendous customer service I received from two Apple Care representatives and by the Best Buy Geek Squad representative and how none of these experts were educated about the extended warranty on the 3 series Apple Watch. I talked about how I was inconvenienced and treated like trash, he then looked into it and then guided me to an Apple location and assured me that the warranty was extended. So I was able to finally be taken care of free of charge by The Apple Store in Memorial City Mall. I do not like how misinformed and nonchalant Adrienne from Geek Squad treated me. He did not even inquire to Apple Reps by calling my watch in or anything he just told me to by a new one and shrugged. It was so embarrassing, disheartening, inconveniencing, and rude. Read moreThe in store experience was fine it’s the delivery process that is a nightmare. I ordered a large appliance last year during the holiday sale event at this location. I took the entire day off to receive my item because of the long delivery window allotted. The two delivery guys arrived and refused to deliver the appliance stating they needed two additional people. My item was rescheduled and the same thing happened again—-only two delivery men showed up. They decided to still deliver the item. Once installed I noticed a scratch on the stainless steel. A third delivery was scheduled and again—only two men showed up even though Best Buy claimed they requested four men. Needless to say the two men refused to deliver my item/remove the old item.
All that to say there delivery system is broken. The delivery men are not direct employees and I’m not even sure if they are background checked. The second set of delivery guys were confrontational and rude (I reported that on the survey). This company has no regard for your time. I have no clue when this damaged product that I paid thousands for will be removed from my home. Someone from cooperate by the name of Laurete claimed she was going to reschedule my delivery correctly and I haven’t even heard from her. I would recommended Home Depot or Lowe’s as I’ve had large deliveries with them without incident.
Update: FIFTH delivery attempt
My refrigerator was supposed to be delivered yesterday. The guys showed up then refused to deliver my fridge. For one only two guys came after they are the ones that initially requested four men last year and from my understanding it’s how Best Buy scheduled it most recently. Secondly they scratched my hardwood floors AFTER I asked them to lay something on the floor as a barrier before pulling the fridge out. I was on the phone with Best Buy when this occurred. Finally after I confronted him about not protecting my floors when asked he arrogantly told me to file a claim and left me with the old fridge unplugged with all my food items and medicine on the counter. I had to find neighbors to help me push it back.
I’m so angry with this entire process. This has been going on since last year. I’ve taken off at least 5x and reserved time for this to be done. My time and home are valuable. I deserved to be respected.
I need my refrigerator delivered. Assp.
Attached is a picture of the delivery guy after he damaged my floor. He refused to give me his name but arrogantly posed for a picture after disregarding my home. Shame.

I just moved to Houston and I wanted to buy few electronics from Best Buy! Unfortunately the closest branch is this branch I'm reviewing right here. I wanted to pay in full, but nooooo, they offered me financing! Which is 0% for 24 months! i said okay if you say so. while the lady, who was probably the only good thing in that branch, doing my application, she asked me for SSN, I didnt know it and didn't have it on my person because its a temp one Since I just applied for it. So i said ill go get it from home and come back. unfortunately that lady was leaving and entrusted my application with another lady who sadly knew nothing about nothing. Went home 30 mins, came back 30 mins and that other lady now is gone. so I called for the manager and I was about to say that it's okay I'll pay in FULL! Just give me my things!! But no, the manager Waqas, was so rude and blunt and didn't try to do anything to help me, like he is giving me the stuff for free! he said that I'm not allowed to have the financing (which I didn't even ask for in the first place!!) because I don't have an American driving license yet! I then asked him "then why did you make me do the trip twice?? why did you offer me the financing??? I drove back and forth 4 times! I spent 2 hours driving!!" His answer, with a fake infuriating smile, was "we offer the financing to everyone" This guy was almost a robot like! He did NOT try to find any other solution (which is the full payment!! Right I front of his eyes!!) He didn't want my money and my business! if he had just apologized sincerely to me i would've paid in FULL! Which was my original plan! He acted like he owns the place And he doesn't even care if Im satisfied or not! he didn't even ask what am I buying! He didn't even ask me if I would like to pay in full!! He just stared at me with fake empty smile! What baffles me is how on EARTH a person like that becomes a manager of a branch?? If the manager Waqas behaved this way with every customer, I bet the 2 stars rating is all because of him.
