First let me say I am a member this is the closest location to my house .....that is the reason I go there ....that being said I want to be specific on my review ....it has to do with my locker room locker being broken into.... I want to first say that we all need to realize that the reason thieves become thieves is because they are ignorant they are stupid..... I say this because we all know what ignorant animal would break into a locker room locker thinking well so my stuff has no cameras on it so I guess I'll just leave a brand new Mercedes six blocks of 1 lb of gold bullion and $1,000,000 inside my locker not to mention my datejust Rolex watch.... again I think we can all agree why these people become thieves because they are stupid they are ignorant .....that being said my locker was broken into here....this is the review for 24 hour fitness what good does it do to say that you're open 24 hours if there's not an attendant at the front desk ....I'm not asking for one all over the club just at the front desk every single minute of the 24 hours that you're supposedly supposed to be open.... not the case almost every hour on the hour the front desk is left unattended not to mention the locker room without cameras is unattended when they found my stolen bag out of my locker they just went and placed it on the desk and left.... no attended any there to explain what had happened I waited 30 minutes..... the reason I put in this review because I have read other reviews about theft at the same location and it seemed hard to believe now it is not that hard to believe.... one other thing I am Hispanic and I own and run and manage three Hispanic bars 90% of my Hispanic customers are male Hispanic diabetic customers who drink 99% beer and I can truly say that if you were to encompass all the odors from all three of my bars and put it in a bottle nothing is as bad as the smell as the men's locker room urinals.... death 7 times over and pi squared does not smell as bad as the urinals at this location.... that being said they leave the door open to a closet that has tons and tons of disinfectant and cleaning acids and deodorants all I can say to this...
Read moreNormally I use my university's gym to work out as classes are coming to an end, I hoped to find a different gym for the summer. 24 hour piqued my interest due to the flexible schedule and the fact that there are multiple locations. Me and a friend signed up for the 3 days pass online hoping to check out the facility and see if I should purchase the gold membership. Since I live right outside of Houston but work out with a friend that lives in the city. The gold membership would have allowed me to work out in Houston with my friend as well as work out in my local area whenever I wanted. But as soon as we approached the front desk asking, where do we check in using the free pass? A man (that I'm assuming is the manager) behind the front desk person barged in to say that the free trial is only for people trying to buy a membership and that this isn't a place to get a free workout. Insinuating that me and my friend were only there to get a free workout and be unable to pay. Now I understand that there are scammers who abuse the free trial system to avoid paying, I get that. But the problem wasn't just this statement but the whole conversation and his attitude. Throughout my whole interaction with him he kept a condescending tone, he asked questions that on the surface could be perceived as normal small talk, but you could tell that he was definitely asking probing questions to sus out whether or not we could afford a membership or if we even worked out on the regular basis. In order to even use our free pass, we first had to go on a tour but at the start of the tour he basically seized our ids. When the tour finished, he kept our ids told us that we could get them back from him we when finished working out. I can't even speak on the quality of the machines and equipment, we were so grossed out by his behavior that we didn't even work out, we just collected our ids and left. All we wanted to do was check out whether or not this gym was what we were looking for, not to accused of just trying to get a free workout nor be questioned on our...
Read moreEdit: There was a chair for the yoga room at the front for a couple weeks with arms for ppl who can not fit in airplane style arm rest seats that are very small for obese ppl coming to work out then it was removed.
Please restore obese friendly seats or i will conact the corporateoffice. It is discrmination.
Obese ppl cannot walk 4 or 5 rows of parking full rows in the heat to the front without sitting down at the front then moving on upstairs to a machine or a bikeor to the pool area.
Obese ppl should not be intimidated or prevented from using the gym.
None of the other locations have this issue that they have adequate benches and seating up front and I should not have to go to a different location.
Obese ppl go to a gym to lose weight.
Thank you.
*(
I appreciate the chairs but with all due respect only petite ppl can fit in them.
The arm rests and small seat make it unaccomodating of anyone of size who would be going to a gym to get fit while it's hard to park with 5 to 6 rows of parking spaces full in 90 degree weather. Obese ppl can easily lose their breath, get heat stroke, heart attacks and the arm rests prevent them from sitting down.
Please get chairs that accommodate the obese since they are the ones unable to easily walk 5 or 6 rows of parking spaces without a break in between since the parking is so busy most of the day...
You have chairs in the yoga room without arm rests, or used to a while ago, haven't seen lately.
But A1 for effort. You did listen and add chairs so I will remove my bad review.
Thank you. We don't want to be pests. We just want to be able to come to the gym on a regular basis and turn our health around as obese and...
