Bad management or poor skills of how to communicate with customers .. I’m a regular here, love TJ max. Coming in like twice a week at very least. Never ever leave any comments to any where but this time my experience at this Location TJ Max on Richmond and Sage disappointing me very much. As I walked over to makeup shelves and saw that they have lot of foundations so I attended to opened the box to see if stuff in the box it’s still in the same products of package or box as you all know boxes have been opened so i tried a bit of it on my hand to see if it matches my skin color also lots of boxes had been opened already by the way when I got there so I thought it’s ok to open it so the lady walked over to me(staff) and told me that I can’t open the make up box so at this point I was thinking to myself like can’t you see there’s tons of boxes opened and I just got there and pick up this one package of the makeup and she was right there!!!! Wow that was a fast costumer service I didn’t request for lol
So I would suggest not to disappoint your customers ever again by putting a sign and say whatever you want so then customer won’t touch you stuff!!!!!! I understand that you don’t want people to open the box BUT Do your job smarter, I’m sure whoever has been told this to their face in front of other people they won’t be happy about it! Read moreI went into the store to have an exchange,which I guess I don't need a receipt to make an exchange there,so the lady asked for my ID,I gave her my ID which is international ID,she refused,I went in search of the Reciept,and at that point she was getting really discriminating,so I left to go find it,and she started shouting ma'am do you still want it or not,so I walked out quitely,went to find the receipt, found it and went back to the line,so i let another cashier attend to me,at that point John came and said ma'am you need to go back to the end of the line,you are not being fair to others,,told him i went to out 2 times to find the receipt I just found it and decided to go back to the line,he just started raising his voice,did you tell the lady you will be coming back,I almost answered No sir! Since it is now a board meeting,so I waited for Krystal(the most pleasant of them all) I just asked for my money back.And gently walked out,my point is I love the store,I live far and still drive 20mimutes far off,so if i decided to drive the all the way,I will expect better treatment,they were condescending,and they all laughed at me without caring if i was there,unfortunately I do not know the dark lady's name,she was...
Read moreRUDE JEWELRY COUNTER & LACK OF SELECTION/ORGANIZATION My experience the past 9 to 10 times has been pathetic & that's putting it nicely. THE WOMAN BEHIND THE JEWELRY COUNTER TREATED ME AS IF I WAS A HOMELESS PERSON FROM THE STREET WHEN I ASKED HER FOR ASSISTANCE. I don't use baskets at a store like this because I will fill it up! So my hands were full of items & i needed some earrings so I asked if I could put my stuff down on the counter & check the items out with her as well as look at some jewelry. She literally told me after looking me up & down, "I'm busy with another customer you will get through the line much quicker over there " as she pointed towards the un-ending line at the front counter. I asked again to give her a chance to correct her rude demeanor to no avail. This store is by far the least interesting items on the racks I have seen at a TJ Maxx store. I live across the street & have needed quick stops with something fashionable that works. I can tell you honestly I have never gone in expecting to get a good deal I was just looking for something that was fashionable & never have been able to fulfill that need ANY TIME...
