I hate to have to leave this here, but this is by far the least well managed chipotle in the area. I hope this is viewed as a learning and training opportunity and not negative criticism, but for starters, the bathrooms at this location have now been closed for a few weeks with a stool laid horizontally to block the passage. Not sure if this is infact due to maintainance or there are other reasons. I have a hard time believing that the restrooms have now been under maintenance for 3+ weeks. It is also almost always guaranteed that regardless of the time of day you visit, either sauces, sauce containers, napkins, or utensils or at times all, are completely empty, removed, or not tended to. However, today, during my visit, the employee who prepared my bowl couldn't recall the type of meat I ordered, and despite me immediately responding that it was steak, they instead choose to stick their 4 fingers deep in the middle of my bowl to push everything to the side in order to confirm that it was indeed steak (I wish I was making this up or exaggerating, and not sure why I would lie and choose the more expensive meat on the menu). I understand their gloves maybe clean (or not) but to clarify, they had the option of asking me, looking down at the bowl as there were a number of steak pieces visible, think back literally 10 seconds and recall the order, use one of their utensils or use a plastic knife or fork and instead, they choose to instead stick all 4 fingers half way deep into the customers order, and when I ask if it was possible to request another bowl, I am subjected to the worst passive aggressive attitude by the cashier. I don't believe this mistake was intentional, but I do hope service here is improved, and the location is managed more on-par with the service I have come to expect at nearly every other chipotle I have visited multiple times a week for 15+ years (and even worked...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI put in a catering order for pick up at this location, it was paid for and confirmed the day before. I sent an assistant to pick up the 7:30PM Pick up at 7PM, They arrive, and the food is not ready, not just not ready, they said that it was not on their system, and the order didn't print out, and there was nothing they could do. They then wouldn't assist in the refund, they told me that I would have to go online to get the refund, they couldn't help. So, I asked if they could make the food since they see there was some sort of mistake, they refused. So, I instructed my assistant to just start ordering the food that they have because I had a crew that was at this point, waiting for the food. The restaurant was up the street from my office, so I went to see if I could help. I asked to speak the manager, and the employee had to keep going in the back, and the manager refused to come out. Every time I asked for the manager, she wouldn't come to the front. She kept sending someone out to tell me, " No". So, I finally asked why isn't she coming to the front to right this, I was told that she didn't want to come to the front because she didn't speak english. So, my being bilingual in english and Spanish, I started speaking in Spanish. She still refused to come up to the front. At this point, the meal I paid $338.00 bucks for to pick up at 730, was not not ready and it was almost 8:45PM. I got the manger's card, and then the manager told the employee to offer us $50 off our meal, that is all she is allowed to do, and that we can call her, AFTER WE PAID, if that wasn't enough. So now, I have a $338 meal that I need to be refunded, and I was forced to pay $270 for a meal that was over an hr late being ready, and I never once spoke to the manager about it. I am so livid at the lack of customer service that I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI regret to share that my recent dining experience at Chipotle (Richmond & Sage) left much to be desired. The overall preparation of the food was only marginally satisfactory, which is disappointing considering the reputation of the establishment. The tortilla in my order was undercooked, making it difficult to enjoy the meal fully. Additionally, our food was cold, a major letdown that impacted the overall enjoyment of the flavors. Unfortunately, the chicken I ordered was far from flavorful; it needed the expected taste profile that Chipotle advertised. Beyond the disappointing food, the restaurant's cleanliness was a glaring issue. The local condition was subpar at best; the floors needed attention, and the tables were sticky to the touch. The service area, usually a focal point for maintaining cleanliness, was surprisingly unclean and disorganized. Considering the prices charged at this establishment, it's disheartening to feel that the money spent was essentially thrown into the garbage can due to the unsatisfactory experience. Unless there are no other viable dining options, I strongly advise against choosing Chipotle for a meal. The lackluster food and the unclean environment make it a regrettable choice. It pains me to say that this particular Chipotle branch is not up to par, and unless improvements are made, it's best to stay away. Your dining experience and hard-earned money deserve better than this...
