This is the WORST apartment complex I have EVER lived in. I would give it negative stars if I could. It seems like such a great deal, super cheap apartments but at what cost? The cost of your AC going out a thousand times, poor management, poor maintenance, theft, roaches, ect. One of my first problems were roaches, and when I asked for pest control I specifically told them in just the kitchen. I had my cat locked up on my room and when I came home from work my cat was running around, they had been in my room and sprayed in there too which could have endangered my cat, and I had stuff missing from my room. I filed a complaint and nothing was done about it. Then my AC kept going out and this is during the hottest heatwave the south has seen in a long time. The first time they came to fix it, they busted freon EVERYWHERE and they told me to leave the apartment because its toxic. They again endangered my cat. After they busted the freon I had to have them come back and fix my AC unit a total of 6 times!!! At one time it was 85+ degrees in my apartment for over 2 weeks making it absolutely unbearable to live like that. When I complained they just kept saying it would get taken care of and I kept receiving emails saying my work order was completed, when obviously it was still scorching hot in my apartment. So when I complained again they sent someone with a window unit?!? What is a window unit going to do for me in this Texas heat? And every time maintenance would come into my apartment they would move stuff around, take stuff, let my cat out of my room, and leave their trash behind. Every time I filed a complaint it went unnoticed. Once my electricity went out and they didn't get it fixed for 5 days! I go to school online and I work 3 jobs to afford the apartment and everything I have in it and they made it unbearable to live and enjoy the apartment I spend all my hard earned money on. I had my bench stolen from my second floor patio and when I wanted to file a complaint since they supposedly put cameras all over the apartment they told me it was MY FAULT for leaving stuff sitting outside my apartment. ITS A BENCH, THATS WHAT IT'S FOR! and I shouldn't have to constantly worry about my property being stolen, especially after someone had tried to rip BOTH plates off of my car. The office manager told me that she wouldn't look through the cameras unless I filed a police report but I'm not going to file a police report over a bench when they clearly can handle it without getting the police involved. When I told them I didn't want maintenance in my apartment without me being present they told me that they wouldn't submit any of my work orders because they can't just send their maintenance whenever it's convenient for me, but when I told them that I refuse to have my stuff stolen and tampered with they told me that they only saw one complaint on my file. Because OBVIOUSLY they did not file any other complaint that I had submitted. And they told me that nobody else has complained, as if that statement was meant to disregard my complaint. It's not my fault other people don't care about their property as much as I do. When I complained about being out of AC for 2 weeks they just say "We understand, we're with you and we're trying to get it fixed." No you're NOT with me because it's 65 degrees in the office while I'm sitting in a pool of my own sweat in my apartment. There is crime happening all the time and all they do is send out notices telling us to be more careful at night. It's hard to be careful when none of the porch lights work for the buildings around you which make it easier for someone to attack you at night. I would never ever ever recommend this apartment complex to anyone unless they really don't care about your well being. Everyone in the office may seem professional, but it's all a facade because they really have no idea how to run an apartment complex and how to take care of their tenants. I've lived in 5 different apartment complexes since I've been in Houston and this one is by...
Read moreI've lived all over this city, last year I was out of state however when I moved back I needed an apartment close to work and extremely fast as my job offer was time sensitive. The ladies were extremely helpful getting me in to my apartment from being out of state. However the longer I've stayed here over time, it seems there's an EXTREME lack of care to tenants. I feel bad to write this but I'm literally fed up. The gal in the office are either a complete joy or extremely stand offish and rude. A few months ago, about two months into my lease there was a leak in my apartment over my shower. It caused a huge bubble with water. I called the office 3 days in a row to no avail. Eventually the ceiling broke. I finally explained again to the office the sevaraty of the ceiling and they had someone "fix it". In other words they had someone cut a hole in my ceiling and fix the pipe....however they did not patch up the hole. For months I called the office to have someone fix it, I even considered doing it myself. I even received emails of how it was fixed and would come home to the same gapping ceiling. To which I'd re-call. Months later my Boss (the equivalent of my mother) went to the office and talked to them, same day, fixed. Overall a 3-4 month ordeal to fix a pipe. During hurricane Harvey I thought it best to evacuate since the neighborhood floods with a regular rain storm. When I came back 6 days later I found out my apartment had become infested with bed bugs. I put diameacous earth down to keep them at bay. When I told the lady at the front office, she thought I was lying. "Well have you been bit?" "Yes" "Are you sure there bed bugs?" "Pretty sure". Why would anyone want bed bugs?! I'm disgusted. For how much I pay to live here I should at least have assurance of knowing bed bugs won't be an issue. Instead of taking the matter seriously I've been scheduled a week out to have someone "investigate" the claim. Oddly enough I come home tonight, same day as telling the office, I have a lease violation for unclean patio. Literally I keep my patio the cleanest! There's two trees next to my house...I don't want roaches! (Which I see regularly anyways) Stapled to the Violation is a picture of a bag of garbage by a fence, not my patio nor my garbage. As unclean as many of the tenants are I love how I've been singled out the same day as I ask for work to be done. Between my car being broken into, loud neighbors, kids screaming in the court yard at all hours of the night or the constant creepy people smoking weed all over the place, my outlet never being fixed (though I called months ago) I'm just waiting for my lease to be over. All in all if your in a hurry and nothing goes wrong it's not a bad place, however it's basic tricklenomoics once the first problem arises. Good luck,...
Read moreThese are the worst apartments to ever exist. Maintenance requests are either delayed or ignored, no matter how many times I put in a request it would appear as resolved on the online portal. There were multiple occasions I had to call law enforcement due to someone breaking into my vehicle, stolen packages, harassed by the drunk neighbor or even SA by said neighbor. On neither occasion did the property team contact me back, they just wanted the police report for their records. Security is a joke because how are you going to make rounds yet not speak up when the tenants are outside blasting music, drunk and smoking weed past 12 am.
The parking situation is a nightmare, you are only limited to two parking spots but they are terrible at keeping track of the spots that theyâre always auditing said list. One neighbor literally had 4 Reserved parking spots and to this day it doesnât seem like theyâve noticed. Even worse is having reserved parking and people taking up your spot and when you call the tow truck they either donât come or take a lifetime to show up- waited 4 hours. Trash is constantly piled up within hours of pickup.
My personal favorite, the passive aggressive essay long emails that flood your inbox yet theyâre full of typos. Sometimes you get three at a time but who has time to even read all that? And even worse, the constant emails saying theyâre going to do an inspection but they never come during that timeframe and two months later the assistant manager shows unannounced with his phone in hand and camera on ready to walk into your apartment as if heâs the one paying rent. You have no idea how many times I was startled by the loud banging on the door only for it to be property management. Thereâs no grace period from the time they knock to the time they use their key to open the apartment, god forbid they walk in on someone bathing, sleeping or changing.
Also, why are you stalking my LinkedIn? This is literally the strangest thing ever because why are you searching for your tenants information beyond what you already have in your records. Almost sure youâve...
