Initially, everything seemed good . Arshia was very polite, showed us the Carfax, and took us on a test drive. However, when it came to negotiating the price, they were unwilling to lower it. After some back-and-forth, I proposed a final offer, stating that it was my walk-away price, and Arshia verbally agreed. I confirmed this agreement three times to be sure, and he assured me everything was set.
I then went to the bank, got a cashier's check for the agreed-upon amount, and drove to their other dealership location (where they do the paperwork). While we were waiting to meet with the finance manager, we couldn’t help but to feel uncomfortable in that environment due to the fact that we noticed Arshia kept talking with some other coworkers and kept glancing at us and sort of just laughing, as if making fun of us. Anyways, when we met with the finance manager, Arshia suddenly claimed the price we agreed upon was incorrect. He said he never agreed to the price I had written on the check and was asking for $1,700 more of the total we had agreed .
I was extremely disappointed. I had never experienced anything like this at any other dealership. Given that it was the end of the month and the end of the year, you would think they would be eager to finalize a CASH deal. The price we had agreed to was fair, but they chose to backtrack and demand more money, wasting our time in the process. Should’ve known better than to trust a 21 year old kid trying to sell me a car. Not to mention, his whole “nice and polite” attitude changed after we refused to pay the extra amount. He drove us back to the original dealership (where we had left our car) and drove back so aggressive. I also found out that they end up deleting bad reviews so who knows how long this...
Read moreFew weeks back I contacted Texas Car Club about a car I was wanted to purchase. The car itself seemed promising, but the sales and financing process left me feeling frustrated and hesitant. I asked some direct questions about negotiating the price, the down payment, and warranty. Unfortunately, every question was met with long-winded, canned responses instead of straightforward answers. On top of that, email responses were slow, and when I did get a reply, it often said, “Call me,” instead of actually answering the question in writing. It felt like the salesperson and financial department were trying to avoid giving clear answers. This sales and financing experience raises serious red flags about transparency and customer service. I understand that dealerships are busy, but getting honest, concise answers to basic questions shouldn’t be difficult. A lot more transparency and responsiveness would make the buying process much smoother for potential customers. This expertise made it impossible to buy through Texas Car Club and was a waste of everyone’s time. Major red flags. If a dealership can’t be transparent about pricing, payments, and financing, they’re likely to treat you the same way after the sale. Consider walking away—or at least looking at other reputable dealers who are more responsive and...
Read moreWe recently relocated from Canada to Houston because of my husband’s job. As we went through the list of potential cars, I wasn’t particularly enthusiastic about any of them. My husband jokingly remarked that we’d run out of cars to drive! I playfully replied that we still had Bentleys, Lamborghinis, Bugattis, and Ferraris. My husband stared at me in disbelief. Initially, it was just a joke, but guess what? We now own a Bentley!
I want to express my sincere gratitude to the entire team for making the entire process so incredibly positive.
Kirk, our initial point of contact, was an absolute gem. He was incredibly kind, genuine, and easy to talk to. You’ll truly understand his passion when you meet him. He was joined by Andy, who was equally amazing and helped us set everything up.
AJ, the owner, exuded an infectious positivity. His genuine love and passion for cars were evident in every interaction.
Alejandro, our finance expert, was incredibly sweet and helped finalize all the paperwork so we could actually drive the car out.
Nido, the receptionist, warmly welcomed us when we arrived at the building.
We would highly recommend Texas Car Club to all our family...
