This Ulta is like every other Ulta Nationwide. Offers the same, common, products throughout. I was approached multiple times while looking at products by workers who were semi-educated in the topic of my questions. But they were all very nice, which is key. Although, I cannot say the same about the ladies who work in the salon area. On the Ulta website at this location, they state that they take walk-ins. So when I arrived at the store, I walked to the back salon area and asked about getting a blowout after standing there and not being acknowledged for about 10 minutes. Once a stylus acknowledged me standing there (as she was doing someone's hair), she said do you have an appointment? And I answered, no. The website stated your location accepts walk-ins and I needed a blow out prior to 5:00 p.m.. (it was 2pm). She snarly responded with, no. We are all booked up for the rest of the day.. I said, Great thanks.
They should not state on their website that they accept walk-ins, unless they are actually able to accept walk-ins or let walk-ins know that they are unable to take them with a kind attitude from someone who is available to acknowledge...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAs others have stated on yelp and google, they treat you like a criminal for simply looking at any product or browsing isles. I had multiple items in my hand and decided to wait and not spend as much so I put back a few things. When I got to the check out I was questioned on why I didnāt purchase the others I had picked up originally. And not from the cashier, who was very nice, from a random woman who had been watching every move I made in the store. But obviously not close enough, because then she would have seen that I put back a few things, in the right places where the products belong, which no one ever does. So youāre welcome. The whole thing caught me off guard and I didnāt realize she was accusing me of stealing until I made it home. It was uncomfortable and bizarre, but if I would have thought in that moment that thatās what she was getting at I would have gladly proved her wrong.
People come in to shop around and spend their hard earned money, so what if they decide to not spend as much. You shouldnāt be treated like a criminal just for reading a product label or deciding...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy experience with the employee Amber was so bad. This location didn't have a product I came for so I asked for a substitute in a friendly manner. Amber replied, " I could think of some things, but do I know them 5 min before the store closes, no.". Her words and tone were condescending and unprofessional. I knew exactly what I was getting it was not my fault the store didn't have it or that I was asking for it 5 min before closing. I didn't make a fuss. I grabbed the two other items and left that store quickly. I had the very opposite experience at the store in Pearland off of Broadway. Very opposite. I happened to realize I needed some things as my birthday was the next day. I usually wouldn't just make it a habit to go to a store 5 min til closing unless I knew exactly what I needed could be obtained in that time or less. 3 items. My experience was so bad, I wrote corporate. Amber needs to be better trained not to take out frustrations on the customer. She could have simply said she didn't know. Everything else was...
