Not the kind of place I would generally ever want to be seen alive at. I feel that the majority of everything here is really geared towards a younger audience (teenagers, especially), and that's fine. At least they have found one place around Idaho Falls where they are able to walk around, hang out, perhaps grab a bite to eat, and just be social with one another, etc. This mall has somehow managed to embrace a handful of failing (or if not completely failing, then definitely aging/ slowing) businesses. I'm quite amazed that Sears has managed to hold on as long as it has. One quick walk through the store and you realize that probably close to half of everything Sears should have stocked are instead out of stock. There is only probably a small handful of things that anyone would actually want to buy here at the mall. I feel like most things available at the mall can be located at different stores around town and usually at a far lower price. I would opt to avoid this place, but that's just my personal opinion. If I keep my distance I should be able to highly limit the number of swarming teenage crowds I'm likely to run into. And with most of us "adults" out, they can enjoy this safe place to hangout, have fun, and (hopefully) Stay...
Read moreI have never really been a mall person but I was a teenager when Grand Teton Mall first opened and I enjoyed going there. Time has not been kind to the mall as many businesses have come and gone. I hate the kiosks that have employees hawking their wares like a bazaar. The last time I was there one of the kiosk operators had overcharged an elderly lady and refused to refund her purchase when she realized what had happened. English was the kiosk operators second language and he kept telling the elderly lady that he had done nothing wrong in broken english so I stepped on and tried to help the lady. I ended up telling him that I was going to call mall security as well as the police if he didn't refund the overcharge to the lady. That seemed to work and he understood it clearly and ended up refunding the ladies entire purchase as she no longer wanted...
Read moreI’m not quite sure where to put in a complaint but I was bothered by a security guard. The women had glasses and a limp with brown hair. She followed us from the tricked accessories to Zumiez where we wanted to say hi to our friend working there but he wasn’t in. She told me my face mask wasn’t a “ fashion statement “. I have strep throat. I came into get my phone fixed say hi to my friend and leave. The card she had quite literally on the back reads “ we welcome the use of face coverings for medical and religious reasons “. She then followed us through the store into pacsun cause my friend said goodbye to her manager. Then she followed us outside till we left the mall. She bothered us in an extremely rude way as if we were attempting to steal or anything of the sort. I don’t appreciate being treated like I’m a problem when I had...
