UPDATE: the manager of the hotel reached out and apologized. Sometimes all it takes is to show that they care and not make excuses. I understand things happen! When we return, we will try the hotel again. Changing from 2 to 4 stars. Will update again upon return. Thank you.
was overall disappointing due to the poor follow through from the staff, cleanliness and working order of the amenities. We thought we would be staying in an higher end hotel and wouldn’t have to worry about cleanliness or things working properly. Our fridge stopped working in the middle of the night that had our daughters antibiotic and our food from Olive Garden. Since we were coming home the next day, we also purchased some extra meals to bring home to make it easier for dinner on Monday night. All a complete loss. In the morning when we found out that the fridge wasn’t working, I was going to go down and get ice. What I found in our ice bucket was half full of water. Which means the housekeeper just cut corners and didn’t check. This was/is the most concerning if everything is not swapped out and thoroughly cleaned especially now with COVID-19! Then to top it off found a long dark hair in the shower after my husband used it and was ready to get in; I have red, daughter has blonde and my husband short brown hair. We only stayed 1 night as we were traveling back and needed a place to stay for the night. I was assured someone from the front desk on Monday that I would be contacted by a manager the next day. It is now Thursday night and still no call. Things like this is a turn off, if it didn’t happen, it would have been good. It’s a great location, the room was nicely laid out, the bed was comfortable. It’s unfortunate, but there are too many other nice places to stay in Idaho Falls, that we...
Read moreOverall it was a nice stay. The staff were very nice and helpful, the breakfast was great; though one of my siblings was sad to find there were no chocolate muffins or cinnamon rolls. ( ̄▽ ̄) On that note, I have to say that they did THE BEST JOB on the bacon that I've ever had at a hotel!! No uneven cooking, not undercooked or overcooked; simply the perfect level of crispy! 👌💕 I also very much appreciated that they had gluten-free blueberry muffins, though I wish that they had a few more gluten free options; at least it was something!
Of course, my favorite thing was the "matchbox" pull-out bed in the room! No creaking mattress, the sheets actually fit without too much excess fabric, AND; they even had a mattress pad that you slid the ENTIRE mattress into and zipped closed! FAR better than the usual fitted sheet versions most places use; PLUS, it was one of those that are for bedbug prevention!!
There were some not so great things though. The room wasn't as clean as I've come to expect from a Marriott Hotel, there were sticky spots and even some scuff marks on the desk, there were popcorn kernels in the bathroom (not sure how those got missed), the sink had a slightly odd smell coming from the drain I think, and there were a number of places on the walls and ceiling that looked like they had been roughly plastered over recently. I did also notice that some of the tiles on the elevator floors were cracked and probably need to be replaced, and the elevators themselves possibly need some maintenance; because some of the noises they made didn't quite...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of staying at the SpringHill Suites in Idaho Falls, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I checked in, the staff were warm, welcoming, and accommodating.
The suite itself was truly exceptional. I was expecting a high level of quality, and I wasn't disappointed. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and beautifully decorated, with a perfect blend of modern style and comfort.
The amenities were top-notch, with a comfortable king-size bed, a large flat-screen TV, and a well-equipped kitchenette with a microwave, refrigerator, and sink. The bathroom was equally impressive, with a large walk-in shower and plenty of towels.
One of the standout features of the suite was the stunning view of the surrounding landscape. The large windows let in plenty of natural light, and the private balcony was the perfect spot to relax and take in the scenery.
In addition to the excellent accommodations, the hotel itself offered a range of amenities, including a fitness center, indoor pool, and free breakfast buffet. The breakfast was particularly impressive, with a wide range of options, including hot and cold dishes, pastries, and fresh fruit.
Overall, my stay at the SpringHill Suites in Idaho Falls was truly exceptional. The combination of comfortable and stylish accommodations, excellent amenities that felt like luxury, and friendly, welcoming staff made for a truly unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay in...
