This park is one of my favorite spots in the area. It’s not only kept up with really well, but you can tell there’s real pride in how it’s maintained. The grounds are always clean, the landscaping looks great, and everything feels inviting.

We’ve gone to many events and concerts in the big open field, and it’s such a nice space for the community to come together. The layout makes it easy to get around, and there’s plenty of room without it ever feeling crowded.

The view of the water is absolutely beautiful and makes a perfect backdrop whether you’re attending an event or just going for a walk or doing yoga, yes, they have yoga classes regularly in the park. The trails are well-marked and easy to enjoy, whether for a casual stroll or a bit of exercise. Families will love the playground, which is modern, safe, and well taken care of.

The facilities—restrooms, seating areas, and pavilions—are also very well maintained, which makes a big difference when you’re spending a day here. Overall, it’s a park that really has a little something for everyone, and it shows how much effort goes into keeping it such a wonderful place for...

Beautiful play park for kids (& adults that are still kids @ heart) also it's newly remolded with brand new equipment for kids to play on. It also has a big roofed area w/concrete floors and is completely open with no doors or walls. It is also located right next to them water and has a awesome wooden walk path/dock that runs along the water for speculating, that leads to another park area (no playing equipment over there) but does have a open grass area to run around in. Located inside of the big oval paved walk path, which also has a new long wooden dock that leads out into the water with several boat slip's @ the end of it, to tie off your boat while you visit the park area. It's a very nice place in which the County or City of Inverness has done a wonderful job @ revamping the whole area and especially the play area. Thank you for caring & putting forth the time, energy, money & heart into your new Inverness park...

Beautiful walking paths. Clean restrooms. A giant green space. Safe, enclosed playground. A beautiful gazebo. There's also the depot gathering spot (and The Depot pub). There's the water typer all lit up. There's the memorial with the flags and make. This is just a really well planned space with the Withlacoochee Trail passing right through it. A green waterside path and a paved path both connect you to another park with parkour course and some picnic tables as well as sand volleyball courts. Both parks and Trail have the green posts with doggy "business" bags and a place for disposing of their business. Dogs on leashes are welcome on the trails and paths and green space.
