Citrus County Historical Society — Attraction in Inverness

The Historic Court House sits in the heart of Inverness and is a fantastic place to visit. In 1961 Elvis Presley made a movie here called, "Follow That Dream". The climactic Court Room scene was shot on the second floor of the old Court house. On the ground floor is a wonderful museum that features and interactive display showing life of the indigenous people who once called this area home and goes up through the history of the area and families that built the town.
