Today was my first attempt at this establishment.. I was met with who I assume to be the owner. I ordered a pizza, two cookies, two waters, an ice cream, and a snow cone. Once I completed my purchase the owner proceeded to tell us we were not allowed to eat the ice cream or snow cones inside. We had to go outside in order to eat them, which should have been mentioned before ever completing the purchase, because I would have waited to purchase them until we were done eating or not at all. Once we asked the owner why we could not eat the ice cream or snow cones inside with our food we ordered, she proceeded to tell us very rudely it was because “this is our living room” and “we wouldn’t believe the mess the teenagers make” meanwhile my boyfriend and I are in our late 20s… nonetheless, we were told to go outside to eat the ice cream and snow cones and we only came back inside when our pizza was left on our table unattended. I ended up having to throw out the snow cone because I wasn’t allowed to have it inside. I would have just avoided getting anything I couldn’t eat inside with the rest of my food but it ironically didn’t get mentioned to us until after spending $40
Neat spot, but did not appreciate getting sent outside to eat something while our food sat at an empty table until we were done....
Read moreGreat public place to relax, eat good food, drink some casual beers/cocktails.
I’m not sure of the pricing, as I went as a part of a party, but the food and drinks were good. We had nachos and pizza. The pizzas are on the smaller size but there is a wide variety, including vegetarian options. The nachos are standard nachos but good. The drinks were mostly beers, including many local Floridians options. However, I do not believe they have any beers on tap, as all of the beers I got were canned. The cocktails when I went were also canned.
There is “bowling” here. However it is a type of miniature bowling. I believe the bowling is free, however it may have been a part of the party package.
The interior is quite small but nice. The staff was also extremely friendly. There was a christmas tree set up for the holidays as well.
Right outside is a public park and a walking trail near the water. It seems like a popular place to bring the whole family.
The Train Station was a bit hard to find, it is a small building tucked behind the actual...
Read moreWe were attending a private event so it cost us nothing (except 1 round of drinks because we didn't know any better) and I'll admit the beer cost a little more than I expected. But aside from that, the staff was friendly and helpful. I can understand after reading reviews and seeing some of what might be issues from people that had come in to the doors when the private party sign was posted outside ... I get where the staff gets protective of the establishment. Unfortunately they're next to a public park and people seem to approach it as an open option to just hang and use freely. I also made note that they do not serve anything with glass ... Drinks are in cans or plastic cups. Again there's beer and games, to keep it fun they minimize breakables ... its not really unreasonable. We'll definitely go back. We had a great time. Duckpin bowling was fun (even if a strike is hard to get) we had a great time. Next time I'll get an ice cream ... party was over before we knew it and we were too involved...
