Have come in before many times and mostly have had good experiences. Either an ingredient was missing or it took a little longer than normal but today was a less than stellar experience. Ordered with the owner a mango and strawberry smoothie with tapioca boba. Wife began to order and was spoken to rudely to hold on while he finished inputting mine. Allright, thatās a little weird but maybe heās just not having a good day. Anyway, she ordered a mango dragonfruit refresher with mango popping boba. What we got instead was a strawberry smoothie with mango pieces and tapioca boba and a mango dragonfruit with tapioca boba. Tried to explain it to the owner but he insisted that he gave us what we wanted. Then he said āI can fix it for you if you want.ā No, I want you to offer to make it again correctly and not with an attitude. I still drank it because I paid for it and it was fine. Wouldāve been better if it was what I ordered. Maybe it was just an off day but neither of us were really happy leaving this place. Meanwhile, Hello Jasmine up the street has been great every time: friendly service, touchscreen ordering is a plus eliminating confusion when customizing an order, and if they mess it up, they offer to make it right. This place could be that and it wants to be with the fun vibe and retro decor. I want to like this place, especially because there are so few boba places in this area and this one is just down the street from where I live. So if you come here, youāll get a decent boba drink, it just might not be what you wanted and the owner may hassle you if you say it...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAwesome boba shop tucked into a corner on Lawrence. The inside is modest, just a tile floor with a visible kitchen space and neon signs and a sick painted mural of the Chicago skyline outlined by the Bean. There is also a taki's display with snacks that you can get. This may sound like a negative, but anyone who has been in the city their whole life knows that these are all indications that they are about to have something great. The employee who was working there (possibly the owner?) is very kind and makes great drinks. My girlfriend loved her melon smoothie, the Thai coffee that he made me is my new favorite boba drink. I believe he made me a special one since he said that it included 4 different kinds of imported coffee. It was amazing. It's a bit out of the way for me compared to other boba places, but we're going to make this...

Edit: Wow, I think I made a mistake with this review. I had gone here to get my regular order like always and had this older Chinese guy make it (seemed like the owner). After a sip of my drink, I realized how bitter the tea was and politely asked if it could be remade or sweetened. The guy responded with rudeness and personal insults. He started blaming me and arguing aggressively. I was shocked by how aggressively he handled a simple request. The way I was treated was unacceptable and completely uncalled for. -100 for customer service, will be taking my...
