We visited this "place" as a stopover on our "Lighthouses of NJ" tour. It's shaped like a lighthouse, but whether it was ever a functioning/working Lighthouse is debatable. No touring, visiting, or going inside to explore this tourist site. Yes, it's nice to look at - and the surrounding area is beautiful- since it is located on the Hudson River, however, it's not IN the Hudson River or working on the Hudson River. Read moreI don't think this is a real light house. It's on the river where you can see the other side with NYC skyline. It's really small place in front of a high building (higher than the lighthouse itself). No designated parking, you either have to use the expensive parking there or park on the nearby streets with 2-hours limited parking and pay thru an app. No restrooms, no playground, and no picnic area. There's a few benches to set and enjoy the river scene. The old picture on Google maps with the red and white stripes is old, now it's bluish greyish and white stripes. It's ok if you around the jersey city area, but it's not worth the travel from south jersey or any where for...

We spent 2 hours here watching the sunset and enjoy a park bench dinner with our 3...
