Oh F45, there are not enough words I can say to thank you enough. I was a former gym rat and was the queen of solo gym workouts. Then in March when the pandemic hit, I lost access to the gym my place of solace and sanity. We all know as the pandemic raged on we were all consumed with the loss of human contact, the loss of motivation, the loss of routine, and countless other things - the blow to my mental state in 2020 was really harder than I ever thought it would be. When things began to reopen I decided to try something different, this is when F45 entered the picture, and two months in I am more grateful than ever. Grateful to feel challenged again, grateful for a supportive community, grateful for trainers that keep the energy alive, grateful to feel a rush of endorphins for 45 minutes everyday. So thank you F45 for giving me back the confidence and motivation to take on each day with the same energy your team gives!...
Read moreI highly recommend F45! The work outs are challenging and actually provoke change but what really sets F45 apart from other work out classes and studios are the trainers. At other studios I never had a the instructor correct form or increase my weight, they’d usually just shout out instructions and leave you to fend for yourself. At F45, all the trainers give you individualized attention and correct your form or increase your weight to make sure you’re making progress without putting yourself at risk for injury. Also, they are so supportive in helping you reach your goals and have tools to help you achieve them like a body scanner, challenges, and apps. If you’re not convinced yet, I lost 2.5% body fat and gained a pound of muscle in just 2 months and that’s just the beginning. Can’t say enough good about F45...

However, I’ve been to other F45 locations where they provide stretching afterwards, which is critical when you’re doing high intensity workouts. Here, the classes are so tight that the stretching is entirely skipped and up to user’s choice. To me, that’s a critical deficiency, and it always worries me when fitness classes do not at least provide 3 minutes of instructor-based stretching afterwards. That’s especially disappointing here where there really isn’t any room to stretch on your own once the next class starts (which is usually immediately after yours ends). I’d strongly encourage the facility to change that practice for the safety of...
