Here is my comprehensive review after almost 5 months.
Moving in: I moved in May 26 2022. Basically no one else was moving in so it was easy and went quickly.
Apartment: the apartment is beautiful. It is designed very well. Kitchen appliances are GE. The dishwasher is amazing, I’ve never seen one work so well. I am not a fan of electric stove tops, but it is what it is. The fridge is quite small, it’s double door and bottom pull drawer freezer. The freezer is very small. Washer and dryers are in unit Bosch appliances and are not full size but are not small apartment size either; they fit average size loads. I absolutely despise the dryer!! It does not fully dry clothing - it’s some type of “humidity drying.” If you leave clothes in there too long they will smell musty. Not a fan of that.
General design: the kitchen cabinets are a nice light gray laminate - I find them a bit cheap looking up close but they are nice overall. They show fingerprints which I do not like. There is ample space in the cabinets. Most apartments do not have islands and I wish mine did, however there is a fair amount of counter space. I like that the finishes are black - that’s very chic. The living room and bedroom of my unit are good sizes. We can fit a queen bed in the bedroom and still have space and we have a couch that is huge in the living room (111 inches long with a chaise). The closet space is nice in most apartments. My apartment has two average sized closets and my boyfriend and I fit most of our clothing, however we need to utilize dressers as well. The bathroom faucet is short and far back in the basin so I had to buy a faucet extender.
Amenities: gorgeous. Gym is beautiful. The outdoor grill and chill area has electric fire pits, 5 grills, a bunch of seating, and a ping pong table. There is a demonstration kitchen with arcade games that my boyfriend loves to play. The pool area is stunning - main pool is heated and there is a hot tub. It gets sun most of the day and has unobstructed views of Jersey City. There is a space with a bar that you can rent for parties and a space with card tables, couches, and a pool table. The mezzanine is a work-from-home space that I don’t spend time in but it reminds me of a college study area.
Lobby: it’s alright - not impressive compared to other buildings. Small reception desk. Front desk staff are lovely though, especially Stephanie and Carmen. Huge hallway to walk down to get to the elevators which I find weird. Still not decorated, I think it’s supposed to have wallpaper or art at some point. Security procedures require everyone to use their fob to get to any floor - this causes lines. The elevators close very quickly so sometimes you will miss the elevator due to the line. Everyone only has access to their floor and the amenity floor.
Parking: it’s valet and you can call your car to be ready through an app. We were told the cost is $275, but we were not told that oversized vehicles would be $350 so that was not appreciated since my boyfriend drives a pickup truck. We were also not told the stated price was not inclusive of tax, so they need to change their language.

Read moreI am about to move out and hopefully this will be my last update.
The building now deserves a 5-star review. After a year, it is finally running efficiently and there has been zero issue over the past few months. So far every staff has been extremely helpful. I hope my move out process will be smooth as well. The only reason why I am moving is because I need bigger space and I don’t see any available 1b here that fits my needs. Things may change and I may move back eventually if the building keeps running like this. But one thing I would to point out is that the quality of materials the Hendrix used is not so great. It won’t affect your living experience that much tho.
More update,
Just as I thought things were getting better, the elevator was down this weekend. We had to call the concierge to go downstairs but no one picked up the call. So I walked down 30+ floors.
Management reached out and finally fixed my dishwasher after a month. Waiting to hear back from them on the next step.
Quick update: Dishwasher still does not work. Also, many residents and I have been having hot water issues. This seems pretty common for higher floor units. I have not had any hot water for two days and this is not the first time. The maintenance guy tried to fix it last time but it happened again only a few days later.
I am a current resident here. My experience so far has been nothing but disappointing. Let me talk abt the pros first: friendly concierge and good location. Everything else is just big disappointment and frustration. When I first moved in, the paint of my bathroom door and laundry door was not dried. Even the slightest touch would leave a mark on it. Then the bathroom faucet, which is so poorly designed and installed, is extremely close the edge of sink and super inconvenient. I Never felt good after a shower after I moved here because of the ridiculously low water pressure. Now I finally cooked and used the dishwasher today. After letting the dishwasher run for three times in a row, 1) detergent not dissolved 2) all the plates and pans still greasy and dirty. In terms of amenities, I only used the gym so far and have to say it’s not impressive at all. I honestly never hated an apartment so much and just can’t wait to move out next year. I really hate this...
