I am writing to formally express my concerns regarding the unprofessional conduct of the security staff at lotus. As a loyal patron who has frequented this establishment multiple times, I am deeply disappointed by the treatment I have received and the apparent lack of professionalism exhibited by the security personnel.
On one occasion, I was unjustly accused of selling illegal substances while in the restroom. In reality, I was experiencing a nosebleed. Despite my attempts to clarify the situation, I was forcibly removed from the premises without any proper investigation or consideration.
Additionally, I have observed and documented instances where security personnel engage in inappropriate behavior with female patrons. Instead of maintaining a professional and impartial stance, certain guards establish personal connections with female guests, leading to biased decision-making. This results in situations where individuals are removed from the premises not due to actual misconduct, but rather based on personal preferences or unjustified complaints. Such behavior compromises the safety and fairness of the establishment.
It is concerning that security personnel, who are entrusted with ensuring the safety of all guests, prioritize their own social interactions over their professional duties. I have video evidence of security guards engaging in unprofessional behavior, including flirting with patrons instead of maintaining vigilance over the venue.
As a repeated customer, I expected a higher standard of professionalism and fairness from your establishment. I urge management to take appropriate action to address these issues, including reviewing security protocols, providing proper training, and ensuring that all patrons are treated with respect and impartiality.
I would appreciate a response regarding the steps that will be taken to rectify these concerns. I hope that lotus will take this matter seriously to maintain its reputation as a safe and welcoming environment...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent to meet up with an old friend, that was the only part of the night I enjoyed.
Left before 1am, and I already started feeling hungover. I enjoy a sweet drink, but the alcohol to mixer ratio was way too low.
It was Latin Night, which was a fun concept with a good music selection, but it was so crowded that my friends and I couldn't even dance without hitting 3 other people.
Not only was it too crowded, the space itself was quite small with the DJ booth right in the middle of the basement, not even trying to be out of the way of people trying to walk from the bar to the far side of the room. Several times I got separated from my friends as we were trying to get around.
The staff was somewhat helpful in guiding some of the foot traffic. Overall I give it 3 stars because plenty of people will enjoy this place, maybe even for the reasons for why I don't like it. However, if you're anybody like me, be prepared for what you're getting...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDefinitely Overhyped
Not only was the place packed (elbow to elbow) it had a ratio of 4 guys for every 1 girl, unless you identify as Queer best of luck. Also the security guy at the back was rude he kept asking people to order drinks or get out. They ask you to pay 10$ and there is a 30min wait. Unless you pay 50$ for VIP which by the way the VIP was pretty empty. I get it the economy is not great but charging people 5 times the normal price for a lame experience is a hard pass. The bar across the street had far better music and the DJ allowed the music to play no interruptions. The DJ at the lotus kept talking throught the night like buddy let the song play out. Honestly the place is overhyped there are lots of great bars all around who ask for 5$ entrance without much of a line and a better male to female ratio. Good luck I hope if you are reading this you have a better...
