Despite the good food, I won’t be returning to this place. The service from one lady at the front desk was incredibly disappointing. Her rude attitude and lack of professionalism completely overshadowed the Togo experience. She always be the same with everyone. This is not the way how to deal with the customers. Each and every time I will buy a pizza slice and she wraps that in a paper bag instead of pizza box. The reason for asking box is if the pizza wrapped in a paper it always stick to the paper bag and loses the sauces & flavors on the pizza. Please train her and let her know how to smile with the customers. And one more thing even the pizza is back in the oven she says it is out of stock will get next week. If we see after 10 minutes the pizza will be on the shelf. It’s a shame that such poor service ruins what could otherwise be a great restaurant.

Dropped in after being sorely disappointed by another nearby business being closed despite the posted hours and this place brightened my day back up. I ordered the East Coast slice and my boyfriend got a couple of the Ricky(?) Lang slices. On my big(!) slice, the cheese was nice and fresh, the basil was tasty, the sausage was good, but my favorite part was the sauce. I think it's made with 'hot honey'? I couldn't detect much spice BUT the sweetness made the sauce absolutely unique and delectable. The other thicker slice was also very good, with its pepperoni and cheese(s?). Service was upbeat and friendly, and the atmosphere was pretty laid back and nice. I don't think I could do it at the busier hours in the evening/night simply because of sensory overload from too many people but it was a great place to stop in for a relaxed lunch.

Providence By The Slice is the perfect spot for pizza lovers! The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is fantastic—especially on nice days when they open up the restaurant so you can enjoy the fresh air while you eat. While both the environment and the staff are great, the real star here is the pizza. Wow! The pizzas are amazing. My personal favorite is definitely the Famous Rick Lang. The in-house-made hot honey is indescribably delicious; you absolutely have to try a slice, even if you plan to order something else. Trust me, it will leave you wanting to take a whole pizza to go! Another highlight of this place is the great value and quick service. Each slice of pizza costs about $4.50, and if you opt for takeout, it only takes about 4 to 5 minutes, at most, from what I was seeing. This place is truly a must-try!

I am a delivery driver. I used to like coming here to pick up food. However lately there has been a service issue with a employee. See as a driver it's expected of me to 1 make sure the order is correct. John F gets his order not John Cs order. 2nd Drinks always on places about the drinks. Now if a waiter takes n order to a table and it is the wrong order. He takes it back brings the right one. I get to a house and the John F gets a order no sodas n it's John Cs.order instead. Guess what??? I have to deliver and move on. Order gets canceled and I look like an incompetent idiot. I can't take the order back period. So when I show the staff my phone it's not out of disrespect. That's how your staff takes it. It's to reassure accuracy. Now I could easily take your orders n keep them and unassign them. Force u to make it again or lose the money. We drivers have tricks. I don't do that. I deliver your food honestly. I expect more from the staff there when it comes to checking the phone in my against the order you have made. No I don't trust you. Why because I literally took an order for a person to their home and the last names was different. You didn't check my phone and I got to deal with an angry customer not u. Part my fault because I should have checked it again but I trusted your methods and it got me into trouble. So now when I go there I feel animosity and negative energy. Used to like going there. Now I only go if the money is good. Otherwise I avoid this place because you have a couple staff that need have their attitudes checked. I'm literally making you money. This feel like a hostile work environment to me. Not good energy at all. 5 thumbs down...

Though I really enjoy their pizza, they can be very rude on the phone. Poor communication. Delivery is very expensive and if you call to pick up, don't call while you're hungry. The gal on the phone is very impatient and will talk over you, compounding the situation. I called multiple times while nearby to order pick up. No answer. I looked into delivery when I walked home, very expensive. I got approval from kitchen staff to do a half and half pizza. Decided to walk back to Westport to just pick up. Called to place my order and was promptly put on hold for five minutes, then hung up on with nothing further than hello. Kitchen staff already told me thirty minutes ago that they were slow. Called back to place order. Gal on the phone repeatedly interrupted me and was incredibly rude. She told me I couldn't have a half and half pizza. I informed her that I got kitchen approval thirty minutes ago and purchased one less than a week ago. She hung up on me, so I couldn't place my order. I'm extremely disappointed. I was really looking forward to their pizza. Other staff have been fine before, but not tonight. I've worked at a pizza place. Her attitude was...

First time trying Detroit style pizza and it was delicious! The small Motor City was enough for 2 to split. I really enjoyed the crispy cheesey edges. Plenty of toppings. The sauce on top was tasty too, not overly sweet which I don't like. We also tried a slice of the Famous Rick Lang. Wasn't sure how I'd feel about the hot honey but I liked this one too. The honey is very faint and mild. Sesame seeds on the bottom of the crust added a little something special. I would order both again. The value for the price is really great, especially for the location. Lunch for two (no drinks) for under $20. Customer service was good, offering to cut our slice in half so we could both try it easily and checking on the status of the Detroit style of the day before we ordered. Only small negative was it was kind of cold inside on a cold winter day, enough that I kept my coat on and the metal chairs were cold to sit on. Would be nice if they turned the heat up a bit, but I'd still return and...
