I hate the trend to strip malls over regular malls. I'm told it allows you to "pull up right at the store you need". Hmmm, so do malls more or less and if you need to go to different stores you can walk between them without having to suffer the rain, snow, heat, traffic, etc. People used to walk malls for exercise or to window shop, which as often as not turned into a purchase or two. There was also far more variety to shop in a real mall (multiple clothing, shoe and jewelry stores, restaurants and specialty shops). This mall is surviving, but suffering from trying to comfort into both a real, and a strip, mall. It's no longer fun to walk around and enjoy...
Read moreLove going to the movies here. This mall was dying but they did a great job bringing it back. I like that they have a target as one of the staples stores. And now that the way that we watch movies has changed. I like that when they redid the AMC movie theater they focused on the comfort of the patrons instead of how many patrons they could get into a single theater. The ward parkway movie theater might need some touch-ups on the seats, but they are still the most comfortable of all of the AMC's in my opinion. So it's great to come down and catch a movie and walk around the mall and do a little bit...
Read moreVerizon Store is NOT the place to go for anything Verizon related. The service is deplorable now, just as bad as it was before Covid restrictions. They are slow, disinterested, & generally annoyed at having to wait on you. Don't be in a hurry, don't have an urgent phone issue, don't expect quality customer service. If you're not in a hurry, if you have all day to wait while feeling totally ignored this is your kind of place. It's not my kind. My time is more valuable. After being a Verizon customer for over 10 years, I can honestly say this location is scraping the bottom...
