The Culinary Market at Kukui’ula Shopping Center still has the gourmet Monkeypod brand of jams and sauces touted as having the best guava jam in Hawai’i. But...today, July 24, 2019, they had zero guava jam because they were waiting to receive fresh guavas for their next batch. My party did get to taste every type of jam they had: White Pineapple and Ginger; Coconut Curd (with Kauai lilikoi added); Chocolate Orange sauce; Papaya jam; Spiced Tomato; Mountain Apple Pepper jam; and more. We will order the guava jam online. After tasting it at the outdoor market we were convinced of its quality.
The music was great, and my husband loved the Ruth’s Chris steak slider with slaw and creamy horseradish sauce he got. There was a woman selling amazing pies by the slice or take and bake. She had macadamia pies, lilikoi pies, chicken pies, savory pies and other unique flavors for purchase.

Lines were formed at each stand prior to 3;30pm start and began promptly. March 1, 2023: we saw plenty of greens (mixed salad greens, broccoli, kale), soursop, oranges, kumquats, lemons, limes, Hawaiian papaya, apple bananas, rambutans, pink & white green-skinned guava, carrots, root vegetables, radishes, long beans, as well as other seasonal greens.
The pie and baked goods were extremely popular. Honey and fresh Mac nut stands were available, as well as spices & salts.

Read moreIt's been 12 years since I been back to Kauai. This shopping center is very nice it was very new to me since I was born here on Kauai. They have a quiksliver store there and I went in and the workers in there were very nice and help my wife and I out with our things. And the food there is good oh and on some days they have farmers market there too some local farmers bring there stuff to sell. The parking is free and it's a chill relaxing area too.
