online ordering= worst customer service ever. I had ordered directly from the site, the delivery driver dropped the wrong food, so I call for assistance. I tell them wrong food delivered, they tell me to call uber. I said I don’t have a number cause I ordered through your site, they tell me to leave a google review… what?!? I said “dude, your driver just left can’t you get them to call back?” Response: DONT CALL ME DUDE!! IM A FEMALE! HOW WOULD YOU LIKE IT IF I CALLED YOU DUDE! I had to ask for a manger because she would not stop yelling and I hear the worker explaining the dude situation, as if that’s what I’m gonna focus on?!? Manager: how can I help you? Me: driver delivered the wrong food (Same convo about calling uber again) Manager: well we can give you credit for an order another day or you can place a new order and we’ll refund you this one (again… what?? Why are both options y’all keep the $$ and screw me over?) Me: can I just get the refund? Manager: alright, I’ll process that now. hangs up on me
Absolutely atrocious customer service. This is the one located at Disney Springs- 1. Dude- which is not an insult- is the nicest thing you’d be called working at Disney. 2. How do you just hang up on someone like that?!? 3. Train your employees better!
I’ve told many people of my experience and they don’t plan on ordering from you guys either. That was so embarrassing for...
Read moreWe entered this spot like 15 minutes before closing, we were starving, exhausted and needed food after a long day at Disney. We were not veterans of the Disney day so we did not expect to feel the defeat we did. When we entered, we were greeted and given some time to decide what to order. We decided to go for a veggie sandwich and tater totes. The order came quickly and we sat down to eat. At no time did we feel rushed or uncomfortable. The staff were going about their night cleaning up every where else. There were a couple other customers that came in afterwards and then the doors were closed. I must say it was delicious! It was a pretty darn good sandwich and I feel like the totes were cooked to perfection! It might’ve been the hunger eating, but it was one of the best sandwiches that I’d ever eaten! Thank you so much to the staff for feeding this hungry customer and having the understanding. Everything about this spot was easily over a 10/10 and the decor felt like a cabin style! I felt really bad once we finished eating so we made sure to really clean up our seating area and when we left, we were given a “have a goodnight” and a smile. Excellent group of people and a fair price! I will surely visit again, treat...
Read moreEarl of Sandwich: I couldn't find an official "about" section on their website, but according to Wikipedia, Earl of Sandwich was conceived by Orlando Montagu, who is the son of the 11th Earl of Sandwich (yes, it's a real title). He is a descendant of the 4th Earl (John Montagu), who's claim to fame is the inventor of the sandwich. Although there are now various locations, the first restaurant opened in Downtown Disney in 2004. This also happens to be the location I visited. They offer a plethora of sandwich options (including breakfast in the mornings), but I went with one of my favorites, the Cuban. It was loaded with tender carnitas, ham, gooey Swiss cheese, pickles, and mustard sauce. The meat was flavorful, and the bread was thick, chewy, and crispy. There was just the right amount of mustard for additional flavor and to prevent the sandwich from being too dry. Earl of Sandwich also did an excellent job of wrapping up my sandwich to keep it nice and hot. It was a sandwich worthy of royalty. This was the first meal on my Disney vacation, and it made for a fantastic start. I would definitely eat here again and will have to be on the lookout for other locations. Doughboy...
