This is where your kids can spend your money to their hearts content buying all of the Disney toys they covet. Even if you are not a kid it is still a fun place to browse. The store has recently been resized and now it is much smaller. It used to run down to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique but now the part nearest the boutique has been transformed into The Void which is the new Star Wars virtual reality experience. The took away the genie overlooking the splash pad but they left the enormous tinker toy display outside.
The archway to the store is made to look like Lincoln Logs and Tinker Toys with the name of the store in Scrabble pieces. There is a large Mr. Potato Head and Buzz Light Year positioned outside the store which makes a great place to pose for photos. If you look up you can see a conveyor belt with hidden Mickey hooks carrying over sized toy pieces above your head. They used to have a princess room and a Star Wars room but they are now gone. The princess area has now been reduced to a corner in the store.
In the store you can buy plush characters, a monorail system with Disney characters, a castle play set, Disney Tsum Tsum which are Japanese plush toys meant to stack on top of each other (although the selection is reduced from it once was), Disney babies in slings, games, puzzles, Cars and Toy Story merchandise. Since this is Disney the toys are expensive. A nice play set will run you $90.
With the reduced size I wouldn't go out of my to go to this store. A lot of the merchandise can be found elsewhere in Disney Springs. Still it is Disney so it is a very cute store. If you are in a time crunch you...
Read moreMy 2 year old loves Toy Story and loves this store! What makes it the best though are the cast members who work here, specifically Melody. Our toddler was having a meltdown because he couldn’t buy every Woody and Buzz toy in the store and Melody showed such kindness towards him to get him out of his funk and focused on his favorite characters, the ones he could take home! While the Florida rain poured down, Melody also made our visit extra special for many other reasons, her and her fellow cast members and managers there. Melody, if you read this, you will know what I am referring to. Thank you once again for EVERYTHING and making our stop extra special. To infinity,...
Read moreThis is the perfect stop if you aren't wanting to wait to get into the wide world of Disney store. Great selection of popular toys, and the cast members here are FANTASTIC! My daughter has been saving her money for a stop at Disney springs, and the cast members were engaging, friendly and literally kneeled down to her level to speak with her. This is something you won't find at the wide world of Disney store (primarily because it's such a massive store with a ton of craziness). This is the Disney experience without having to pay for admission to Disney world. Every single cast member we encountered at this store acknowledged our princess. We will...
