Dockside Margaritas — Restaurant in Lake Buena Vista

Got a frozen strawberry margarita. It was really good, but not without the insane price of $16.00. You'll find this price is typical for this kind of drink on Disney property, however. I recommend this place though because the staff was nice and the view in the back of the restaurant where you can sit in either high top chairs along the water or regular sit down tables was fantastic. Will attach the view and photos. We were here on a Tuesday night in late July of this year around 10 pm. It wasn't crowded, I assume because it was a week night and around the time that Disney Springs closes (11:00 P.M.). The view was gorgeous. Terrible, policy states as a Canadian you need a valid drivers license and a passport photo to consume alcohol..

Waitress thought it was quite funny that we could not provide a picture of the passports as a group of 6. This was also post EPCOT where we drank at every county while producing a valid Canadian drivers license and it was no issue.

What a ridiculous policy, terrible that they are held to this as people who come from international boundaries are not expecting to read the very small print in the corner of you bar that tells you to beat it cause you have not taken a picture or carry your passport for a drink.

Extremely overpriced for "run of the mill" drinks. $17.50 for a frozen margarita that tastes NO DIFFERENT than any other margarita!! I wouldn't have ordered it, but my husband insisted since the other members of our group were making cocktail purchases. The Friday night guitar singer (Bonanno) on the patio was excellent and quite interactive with all of the patrons in the area. Everyone joined in for a sing a long of Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline".
