Las Vegas Family Eye Care — Attraction in Las Vegas

I have been going here since I was a child. Used to see Dr. Angell, and he was always great to me and my siblings. He was my eye doctor throughout most of my youth. As I got older, I came back on my own for my adult vision exams, was seen by a new doctor Dr. Guerrero; she is fantastic ! Very friendly and attentive, she easily became a favorite. I absolutely love her ! My 7 year old son has seen her for his first exam also. I had my doubts about his vision and she had no problem retesting and easing my worries where needed. We have both seen her consistently for years and it is always a pleasure, she is one of the best :)!

On a different note, my sons most recent exam was on a day Dr. Guerrero was not available... because I didn’t want him to miss school, I scheduled the appointment anyway.

He was seen by a different doctor; Dr. Magdato. I was initially skeptical going in because I am super iffy about changing doctors etc, especially considering I’ve had exceptional experiences with Dr. Guerrero for myself and my son. But upon arrival and meeting Dr. Magdato, my skepticism was quickly brushed away. She is so personable and friendly !! She is absolutely great with kids also ! Very patient and affirming in her interactions. My son loved her, even if he acted shy haha !

This only makes me love this place even more, I have personally met/seen 3/4 of the doctors and they have all impressed me! If you are looking for a new eye doctor ... this is the place to go !!!

On top of their fantastic eye doctor staff... their front desk, and the people who help you choose glasses etc are ALL very patient and eager to help.

THEY BROKE MY RAYBAN GLASSES!!! Long version: I came and brought my used Rayban glasses for them to replace the lenses and update it to my current prescription. I was rushing because I have other appointments that day so just to get through it I just signed whatever the guy gave to me without even reading and I know that what was my mistake. On his part he didn't care to explain to me either that If they accidentally broke my used glasses (which was still in good condition at that time) they won't be liable. The only thing that he explained to me is when he offered me the polycarbonate lenses that is scratch free and of course its an additional charge. Their only focus is to make money out of you thats for sure. So it was a done deal. I remember them charging me like $70-$80. They told me it would take 2 weeks. After 2 weeks I called they said its not ready yet. So after another week I received a voice mail saying they broke my glasses and if I want I can just buy the same glasses with them that would cost $200+ dollars. They were offering me a 20% discount. What frustrated me is they didn't even feel sorry about it and making it seem that its my fault for bringing a used glassed and they expected me to be grateful that they're giving me a 20% discount. Like Bro my glasses were perfectly fine all they can say is you agreed and signed the waiver so we're not liable. Here is your broken glasses cause you didn't want to place an order to buy a new glasses from us. This businesses is just all about money. And we're just numbers to them. So this is really a lesson learned for me. I just want...

I used to go to Dr.Merle who sadly retired had great service then !!!!!! I decided to give them a try and booked appointments for all 5 of us on the 26th of July, the frist day was ok the Dr. was very nice attentive we all got checked out and two of my daughters chose glasses and I explained to the receptionist that I just wanted lenses for the other 3 because I had the glasses already proceeded to pay ... about a week and a half my grils glasses came in went to pick them up and asked them if I needed to pay anything for my other glasses to get started on since I was dropping the frames off was given three froms to sign and as I was leaving I asked them to call me if I need to pay up front ...a week later I called to see if my glasses were ready and was told it takes 15 days I said ok and hung up.. well today two more weeks later I call to see the progress on the glasses since my kids need them for school just to find out that the glasses were never ordered because I didn't pay and that we needed to get mesured ... Really very poor communication between this stuff ....the girls act like they don't care, I ask to speak to the person in charge and she didn't care either was told she was going to check up on it because the records show them calling me... So now I have to pay out of pocket because my insurance was already charged by them..... I don't recommend this place it used to be a great place for the whole family but now it's about getting the money they need to retrain the whole front of the house except for the one single lady thats by her self on...
