Three clerks directed me to various areas in the store to find a specific player named Jersey (Christian and Parker Braun both played KU basketball and I hoped to wear a Kansas Jayhawk Brain jersey while attending a Den er Nuggets game). They all added I might find it online. One desk staffer listened to te areas I had not been successful and went with me to the sale rack. Her inventory journal showed the Jersey was in stock. She asked if I could wait so she could look in the undisplayed stock. It took approximately ten minutes, but I kept looking around the store and checking to see if she had returned to the cashier post - I didn’t want to send her on a hunt and leave before she returned. She came back with the desired item in a preferred color and size. Her perseverance was exemplary and something to be shared with the other three team members. They all got a passing grade for assistance and cordiality, but the determination of the last team staffer to get the product in my hand made the sale and a satisfied customer. Had I gone online I could have ended up with a dozen other choices outside the Rally...
Read moreI went in to Kansas Sampler to look for a couple of KU items. I had to get the Shepard’s crook to get a shirt down. I got one from a lower rack, and the sleeves were covered with dust bunnies. I went to the counter to ask about a scarf, waited while the 6-7 girls behind the counter on their phones- one of them was startled when she finally looked up snd saw me. Pointed to another part of the store I could go look. Came back to the counter, girls were discussing when they were off work, etc. and finally waited on me. Terrible customer service. No one on the floor helping customers. I get better service at Walmart by far, and it’s cheaper. After I left the store I called to talk to the store manager, Stephanie, and after a couple of sentences I was hung up on. I called back. She answered the phone, and I told her how disappointed I was with the customer service. She tried to tell me I needed to talk to someone else about that, and I asked if she was the store manager, so who else should I be talking to. She said, “I guess me.” Then she said thanks in a bubbly voice and the...
Read moreI was sent a defective shirt that I had bought for my wife. I was told that I needn't worry about sending pictures of it, that I simply needed to return it, and because the shirt was damaged that I wouldn't be charged for return shipping. I received an email saying that the shirt had successfully been returned, but when I checked our credit card it had been refunded for $7 less than the cost of the shirt. I chatted with their customer service and they said they couldn't find any transcript of the previous chat I had with them and that there was nothing they could do for me. I normally drop at least $200 every time I walk in this store when I'm back in Kansas,...
