It really pains me to leave this review and if I’m being honest I am never one to do this coming from the restaurant business myself. Not only did I have the worst experience with this place I tried to call in for my “credit” that I was promised and they tried to tell me that they have no record of it. To shed some light on the situation a little over a month ago I ordered a vegan pizza at around 11:30pm or so being as I am vegan it is already a complication finding a restaurant that accommodates this lifestyle so I was really excited to see a pizza delivery place that offers these options on their menu. About an hour passes...no pizza. Ok sure they get busy it happens I’m not too worried about it at this point, another hour passes. I finally decide to call and see maybe they didn’t receive my order as I ordered it online. I was met with a very rude employee telling me that they were very busy and that it had left the store and should be at my place in about 15-20 min I thanked him and we said our goodbyes. Another 45 min later still no pizza I called again and the same rude employee said that they had came to my place and no one answered the door I explained to the employee that really not possible since I was just in my living room watching tv at a respectable volume since it was very late at night. To sum up his response he basically said it really wasn’t his problem and I should’ve answered the door at this point I’m pretty upset but try to stay kind since I’m not really one to argue with simple minded people. I call back 15 min later and what seemed to be the manager talked to me and said that the driver tried to call because I said I have kids and that he didn’t want to disturb them (I have no kids at all) I explained to him pretty much all that’s happened so far and the manager was kind enough to give me my pizza for free along with a credit for my next purchase. 4.5 hours later I finally received my pizza meaning at 4am is when it arrived after ordering it at 11:30pm.
Today I tried ordering from them again and from the voice on the phone I could tell it was the same rude employee that answered and told me that there was no credit under my name and that he was “sorry” did not care to ask questions or direct me to a manager so I simply hung up the phone. To be in food service requires a significant amount of customer service and that just wasn’t even met at a minimum from this establishment it really disappoints me that they will no longer EVER have my business because of this, as someone who already struggles with finding vegan friendly places I’m going to scratch this one off the...

I love toppers, one of my favorite pizza places to order from especially because I work late and it’s one of the only places left open by the time I’m off. So I order my food, I don’t have a car or else I would’ve picked up so I had to do delivery, and I ordered right before 1am. I called back at 215 because I thought an hour and 15 minutes was kinda steep for a delivery time especially that late on a weekday, and I wanted to make sure there was no mix up because there’s another hotel next to the one I stay at. Guy on the other end was nice, explained there was only one driver and I understood because I’ve worked delivery as the only driver too, so no biggie. But then around 230 I get a knock at my hotel door, it was the hotel front desk clerk, he said the driver (was a she) refused to bring the food up, and she didn’t even call me to let me know my food was in the lobby, so if it wasn’t for the kindness of the front desk clerk to take time out of his shift to walk up to my room for something I paid the delivery driver to do, I probably wouldn’t have even gotten my food. Which is a shame because once I found out she was the only driver I had a cash tip for her when she got here. I don’t mind waiting, don’t mind reheating my food because it was cold, but thought it was very unnecessary and unprofessional of her to refuse to do what she gets paid for, and have the audacity to not even let me know my food was in the lobby and in return making the front desk clerk walk to my room just to let me know...
Read moreI never leave bad reviews but after tonight, I cannot believe how embarrassing tonight's service was. I went into Toppers Pizza 9/1/22 around 940PM ish and ordered a vegan pizza from the vegan menu service was great I thought. A lot of people standing around but it was slow do I get it. We got all the way home ate a slice and quickly realized after having a stomach reaction that it was not vegan cheese called up to the restaurant to confirm which they confirmed it was not vegan cheese on top of that it wasn't vegan chicken the whole pizza was not vegan. They said they would remake the pizza fine. Go back out there 20 minutes later once again they give us a pizza that doesn't have vegan chicken. Go back for a third time the entire staff is watching the football game no urgency that we've been sitting outside for 25 minutes waiting for the third Pizza!! If I had my phone I would had taken a photo!! I couldn't believe my eyes!! I have promoted Toppers in many vegan Facebook groups throughout Nebraska I have patronized your business I have loved the pizza but after tonight if staff is not trained on what vegan stuff is on the menu then they probably should remove those items from the menu. We had to go running to the only open Walgreens in Lincoln at 10:00 at night while we're on vacation to grab lactaide etc. People have food allergies and carelessnesd can seriously put some people in the hospital!
