To start, I love going to the movie theater. I love the experience, the smells, the big screen, but today I was disappointed. My wife and I went to the Ross to see a show tonight. We showed up close to showtime. The couple in front of us ordered popcorn, but to their dismay, the employee said that there was not enough popcorn. They walked off with a box of candy.
We got up there and asked for popcorn as well. We were rudely served by the employee who clearly was focused on getting out of there as quick as she could. There was not enough popcorn and she told us their protocol was to not pop any more popcorn after the last showing starts.
I was disappointed in this first experience at the Ross. I’m generally easy to please at a theater but the rudeness of the server and lack of desire to help us left a sour taste. Not rushing to go back.

Showing films: both independent features and documentaries that the general public rarely see or are aware of which is a damn shame because they far exceed the quality of films generally offered at your local "cineplex". The theater itself is casual, quiet, spotlessly clean and unlike other "art house " cinemas, there's even a concession stand for those who can't go to the movies without popcorn and a coke...and tickets cost less than the mainstream movie theaters charge.
