We were really excited to try this place.... at first, it seemed really promising, but it went downhill, pretty fast. Although the menu is limited, the food was very good. The service.. Well.. It stunk. The servers came off like they were being bothered to provide service. Every interaction got worse, as the dinner droned on, and the food was dreadfully slow coming out of the kitchen. It felt like we were at the DMV, except for the decorations and atmosphere were very nice and the music was fantastic. Stevie, one of the 37 severs we saw, was very nice and helpful, in spite of her coworkers obvious lack of knowing how to, or lack of interest in being, nice, courteous, or helpful.
One area of opportunity for any management person that might care, would be that the servers actually explain what food you are getting. We ordered pretty much all the tacos on the menu, in both the flight option, and individually, and there was no explanation for what anything was, even after asking for one. You're left with a ton of tacos that look the same and unless you taste them you don't know what the heck you're eating. (even then, they kinda taste the same.. Really good)
I wouldn't recommend this place if you are over the age of 40, because you'll be disappointed with the typical Gen Z disdain for all humanity, and the feeling that your server would rather do ANYTHING else, but provide good service.
Again, the food was really good.. It's too bad, because this place has the potential to...
Read moreThis was not my first time to the Copper Kettle, but it was the first time ordering food. I cannot believe I have waited so long to try the food here. My wife had tacos and she said they were fantastic. I had the honey bourbon wings and teriyaki wings. The honey bourbon wings were delicious but the teriyaki wings were absolutely dynamite! I will 100% have to come back for them again. My wife really liked her Garden Mule. I myself am not a huge mule fan but I do enjoy bourbon. They have a pretty good selection but I had to go with some Blanton's. They had sports on the TV's, no complaints there! There is a touchtunes jukebox there so if you want to play your own music you are able. Definitely a fun place to hang out, grab some drinks and food. Stop in and...
Read moreWe found Copper Kettle by accident when looking for a caterer for our daughterâs wedding. From beginning to end weâve been nothing but impressed with Mackenzi and Adam. We LOVED the food at our taste testing so much that we continue to drive from Omaha on a regular basis just for the food and drinks!!
When it came to the wedding (275 people) they were prompt, friendly and most importantlyâthe food was phenomenal!!! It was SO worth the price, which was very reasonable!! I canât even tell you how many people stopped me to say that this was the best wedding food theyâd ever had!
Bottom lineâCopper Kettle went above and beyond in every way. I would recommend them for any night out or for any eventâŠany time! It was SO goodâŠ.I canât stop...
