The Junction bridge was flooded with over 30' of water making it nearly impossible for the lights to be lit for Reflections of Resilience Day, and we even received notification the bridge couldn't be lit. On the evening of June 11, 2019 just before sunset, my parents drove down to the river market just to see if by chance the bridge would light up, and it did. I couldn't believe after everything that went on, at least one great thing happened, and Reflections of Resilience Day was honored with the city of North Little, Arkansas lighting up in colors for those who were killed by hate crimes, those who were injured and affected by acts of hate and violence, and suicide awareness. Thank you Pulaski County Democratic Party Committee for sponsorship in the lighting of the bridge for turning the city rainbow. #reflectionsofresilience #ror #rord #lgbt #hatecrimes #actsofhate #suicide #northlittlerock #littlerock #bridgeoflight #arkansas #naturalstate #pride #rainbow...

Both sides of the river have nice running/ biking trails but the South side of the bridge connects to the trails at the Riverfront Park where there are trails and sculptures. This side is where restaurants and shops are found. The view of the city at night is beautiful. The bridge is lit up as well.
Riverfront Park provides amazing running around and across the Arkansas River. There are two bridges dedicated to runners/bikes and another bridge with a separate section for runners/bikes. The park has miles of trails, a myriad of different sculptures and several historic postings
