Amazing event, great variety and fun, chill experience. Live music, pet friendly, ready to eat food, variety of crafts, jewelry, wall art and much more! Highly recommend! EBT: Food stamps double up for UT grown produce. If you have EBT/FOOD STAMPS the state of UTAH is offering 2 for 1 on produce at the market. The following will help you take advantage of this opportunity. 1- You must have an EBT card with funds available. Bring your EBT card. 2-Stop at the state's booth. They will help you understand how it works as well as what you are able to use your EBT tokens for. 3-Decide on how much you would like to spend. (I went back 3 times and got more tokens) 4-EBT card will be run, and then you will get money tokens. There are 2 types of tokens, one larger and shiny, these are your double coin and ONLY work on fresh produce. The others are not shiny and can be used for any food items, except pre-made cooked foods. 5-Choose your fruits and vegetables and food products and pay with your EBT tokens. 6-Enjoy your products and come...
Read moreLove(d) this market. Have bought many things for years. My favorite things are Butcher’s Bunches, Slide Ridge, Crumb Brothers, Bees Brothers and Marks produce. These people care about what they do.
Last year (and last weekend) I looked for Butchers Bunches. I went to the management booth to ask where they were. I overheard the market manager talking to a friend -saying she did not like the son of Butchers Bunches and was “working on” giving them “the boot.” And more that I will not repeat.
Their booth is noticeably absent (i have never been to this market in a dozen years or more without seeing them.). I messaged Butcher’s Bunches and they stated that they are so busy with retail that they do not have time for markets anymore. Nothing else.
Their son is disabled. I am sickened at what I heard that manager say. This market is not run for local businesses. It is run for the market management. And they are terrible, hurtful, selfish and...
Read moreSmall but charming. Its not the most grand of farmers markets, but it is chalk full of genuine local merchants. All of the booths dawn friendly (and definitely not pushy) people who welcome you with a smile. The prices are incredibly fair and you can find a variety of items. My favorite booths are: the salsa booth (amazing salsas! And free samples), the german dessert lady (the desserts are so good. Strwberry rhubarb and her cheesecake is to die for), and the food stand where you get breakfast burritos. It is also dog freindly! They also bring in local artists...
