I would like to be more complimentary, but: the requirements to obtain a warranty is to purchase a mattress protector. The warranty is really only good for 4 months (with other fine print for the year warranty & ((10 yr?)) if you don't like the mattress and how on earth can you tell if you like it in the 15 minutes you try it in the store? You will be charged a $99 fee to return it and/or exchange it (for pickup/delivery). The cheapest mattress protector that you must purchase is $30 and honestly, it's really really cheap feeling, $69 for the mid-grade and $159(? approx) for the top of the line. So that fee depleats the "sale" price. When you purchase a mattress that is supposed to have cooling properties, I'm not convinced that the protector doesn't take away from the cooling effect. Apparently, I have 3.9 months to know if I like the mattress đ or want to pay that $99 fee to return or exchange. I picked the only mattress (not the cheapest nor most expensive) in the store I liked, so exchange is really not an option. After not even getting approved for enough financing(prior to anything, I explained how I have identity theft and cannot get credit cards in normal conversation.. so it could have been made aware to me then)
So after not getting approved for enough financing, though it was understood that itâs a payment plan for the cost of the mattress.. and then I have to walk away with no mattress and a credit card I didnât consent to?
I didnât even know they offered credit cards as the flyer was pulled out from under the desk AFTER I shared my info.
I signed nothing, was not asked for consent for anything. And since itâs a CREDIT CARD.. they can do nothing and now itâs a fight with my credit bureaus.
They offered me nothing and just apologized stating âyes, sorry no one disclosed that. we should be more upfront about that, youâre right.â Over and over.
And I know 110% they wonât change a thing Iâm sure as thatâs how they all do it I now see, and go to sleep every night without a worry.

So we stopped into the Longmont store and met with Lindsay. Lindsay was very helpful, knowledgeable and we never felt pressured or rushed. She had a wealth of information and answered our many questions. We tried multiple beds out and we really like Denver Mattress Companies vision, goals and allegiance to the local communities. Today we came back to order the one we liked and were again pleased with the service and low pressure approach by Lindsay. Great mattress brands, competitive pricing, local company...this is the way buying something was meant to be!
Update: We have now been sleeping on our new Denver Mattress (Denver Mattress branded hybrid with latex) for more than a month and are really happy with our purchase! This is by far and away the most comfortable mattress we have ever owned spanning the last 47 years! It gives where you need it to and supports where your need it and we never get too hot!
