Nice store. Not as good of a selection as the Little Tokyo location. It's small but well organized nonetheless.

I've taken two stars away because they need to be more upfront and clear about their prices. After speaking with the actual manager, (one employee feigned to be the manager but then passed me to someone who then claimed to be the manager) they told me that they recently increased prices due to inflation, which is understandable. However when people are on a budget one expects to pay a certain amount at the register. The store's price signs need to be updated or items need to be clearly and individually priced. I was even charged more than the marked price for a few of my items which I didn't discover until I got home. They need to understand that one can't just make up arbitrary pricing as they go along.

I happened to shop at the store in Little Tokyo on the same day. The latter charged me $1.50 for the same items that this store charged me $1.75 for. It's not the money but it's the principle. Quarters add up quickly.

It would have been nice to know what I was being charged upfront. Inform customers of...

Finally, Daiso open a store in Little Tokyo!

Took them long enough to put one in here finally, this is great for local who live in DTLA or surround area. Daiso is a slight more upscale of 99 cents store; item here are more style and better package.

The biggest caviar is the store no return policy, which is rare to see in many major retailer. Daiso does enforce many policy that isn't usual, also to use your credit card (Master and Visa only) need to be over $10 purchased.

Some of the item they got are super cheat, tablet tennis racket for only $1.50 still. I just wow myself in some of the item, but aware that few item is actually cheaper in 99 cents store... So keep that in mind. Daiso item was able to offer this low price is because is nearly everything is made in China. But they had direct contract with the manufactory to cut cost and no middle man.

Daiso is Walmart Giant in Japan, their price is far lower than anything what it the competition offer. It is good to see they come to U.S. that will...

Customer service at this store is horrendous. The system crashed after I paid. So they claim it didn’t go through and made me pay again. Even though I showed them the charge on my bank account. Instead of dealing with my situation appropriately, they wanted to move me out of the way to help other customers. Why wouldn’t they finish fixing my issue before helping others. Luz was the rude cashier that rudely told me to move while I was waiting for Anthony to bring me a card with corporate information. Anthony was condescending and very rude as well. The card he brought me was just a cut up piece of paper that was a joke because it’s just an email address that probably won’t even be much help. They said the first charge would be removed. Well here we are, a week later and I have double charges on my account that have cleared. Which means now I have to waste my time going back to have it resolved. The store itself is fine, but I would never go back to this location if this is the type of customer service...

Living in Japan I have a great love for Daiso and their products. For how cheap they are sold for, Ive always loved the quality of most of the material and things I buy. In fact, most of what I own probably came from Daiso at this point. Easily spent about $40 on about 25 products so most of what you buy is $1.50 unless otherwise marked. I miss having such a wide selection like in Japan because there are some things I would have bought. And the parking structure next door was good. Charged only $2 for every 15 minutes and only up to $16 a day. Lots of shops and food to explore in this area.

Average. Decent sized compared to the other Daiso locations I've been to, but this one looked very low stocked. There were barely any items on the shelves, but I guess that's good if you don't like it when stores are too cluttered. They also seemed to have all of the usual items that you'd find at the other locations as well as the same prices. Our cashier was really friendly and nice as he checked out our items. Not bad!
