Having lived close to this "park", I just avoided it. It used to be more of a camp ground for the homeless. My friends nicknamed it the "HIV Park" because it looks like there are junkies shooting up here. The benches had graffiti over them, if not a homeless person already taking it up. I did notice lately that the park is under construction with a nice layout. I hope that there will be some form of gym bars being built for the locals and it'll become monitored closely at night to keep the homeless out so that their physical illnesses are not infesting...
Read moreThis is a nice, clean small park. It's got a couple of workout stations and scattered throughout the park you'll find benches. Ideal for a parents with toddlers, who need to exhaust some of that boundless energy. The only draw back is the park faces a major, traffic congested street so it can get very noisy and visitors with your kids need to be vigilant in keeping eyes on them so they don't run out into the traffic. But i highly recommend this park for a quick get away for those seeking...
Read moreGood idea, but it has turned into a homeless encampment. It was a cute place to walk your dog or just get out of your apartment and some time on grass. It's not that anymore. Homeless people vandalize, start fires, do drugs and trade stolen merchandise with other homeless folks.
The city should wall this off or give it to property owners south of the park. This place is an embarrassment...
