2 minute read: The historic FASHION DISTRICT has always had its very own, personality, characteristics and ambience. But please note: It is no longer in its "HEY DAY", and THAT'S very unfortunate. Why? I'm glad you asked and I'll tell ya why. You see, Time Changes everything. The Fashion Distric (SIC) had its glory days just as the old Downtown Los Angeles area also had. Things where jumping, bustling, moving around. Not to say that today it's a hum-drum, dead area, NO NO NO. Time just did a number on the area and it doesn't feel the same anymore. You younger ones may not understand what I'm saying but if you are lived in those days, you'll know EXACTLY what I'm saying. In any event, The Fashion District has all you'll ever need for personal reasons, like Proms, Weddings, Quinceanieras (SIC), Hollowen or whatever. Go over and check it out. If you need more information, "Friend" me on FACEBOOK. I'm under the same photo and hashtag. I'll be...

The area is undeniably grungy, with a significant homeless population that adds to the overall sense of discomfort. The smell of urine permeates the streets, making it hard to enjoy the experience. As for the shops, they all seem to offer the same products, with little variety or uniqueness to be found. It’s frustrating to see rows of stores that all look and feel identical. Adding to the inconvenience, you even have to pay just to use the restroom—a basic amenity that should be more accessible. Overall, the environment is far from aesthetically pleasing, and the entire experience feels more like a chore than an enjoyable outing. If you're seeking a pleasant shopping experience, the LA Fashion District might not be the...
Read moreAmazing experience in the LA Fashion District! I came here with my kids — we found great T-shirts and enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere. But the real highlight was discovering Korean herbal medicine and acupuncture therapy nearby.
I’m currently going through a full-body detox program using traditional Korean treatments — herbal teas, acupuncture, and natural healing methods. I already feel lighter, more balanced, and energized.
If you’re looking not only to shop but also to take care of your health and well-being, this area has hidden gems worth checking out. Highly recommend for families and anyone starting...
