Such a fun, chill vibe! A group of eight of us from the office went to Maital’s for a holiday celebration. We sat in a circle, each of us at our own pottery wheel with a lump of clay. Maital demonstrated, and then came around to each of us to provide hands-on instruction on how to use the wheel and she made sure that we were all successful in making a bowl that had our own unique style to it. After finishing, we chose from a large selection of colors and then we returned to pick up the bowls after they were fired and glazed. I was honestly surprised at how vibrant and beautiful all of our bowls were! The colors did not disappoint, and the variety of shapes to our bowls made it looked like we really knew what we were doing, even though my last time making something out of clay was in preschool!
