I like this mall; but the only issue I had at this mall was when I went into the Apple store, the reps were RUDE to say the least. I askd for help on understanding my new iPhone since iAds an appointmt and all, I explained to the representative that I was blind (after I was being told to constantly look at my screen which I could not see very well nor my touchscreen aswell) the representative didn't know how to assist nor come to think of it did two thirds ofthe store... I was told by the manager btw "why would I be shopping by myself?? Aren't people like u often shopping with someone?? And don't people like you normally have like a seeing eye dog or something???" This upset me; but I didn't show it, I just before walking out both disgustd and offended simply said blind people don't necessarily need to the shop with anyone in other words we don't necessarily need babysitters after all many people with other disabilities can function just as healthy and just as well without personal assistance I just asked for an appointment because I need assistance with my new iPhone but you know what I'm just going to go to the one at Glendale Galleria there's two stores and I'd much rather go to the start the American where there is a staff member who happens to be totally blind at least I know they will be able to help me I just figured I would come to the store because it was local to me I thought I would give it a chance I guess I was wrong and furthermore whenever you come into work how is it you don't have anyone accommodating you because you're clearly just as ignorant as a retard I mean any stupider you would need a helmet furthermore the stereotype that you have a blind people is completely uncalled for not all blind people have to have a dog to guide them wherever they're going most blind people can get by with just using a Waikane not a stick as you have referred to it as it is a cane. When I said this not yelling of course I have said this firmly to wear many other employees and customers turned around and awe and many employees were literally running over each other to try to help me after I express that I sent an appointment based on the fact that I needed assistance with my new phone all in all I said I will not be approaching the store again...
Read moreGenerally it is a good place to shop. However, I was disappointed with the lack of cleanliness in the stores windows. I used to work there 15 years ago and the level of cleanliness, customer service, and window detail has declined. I used to work for a lady's retail store and we had to dress accordingly. My manager would've fired me if I had come to work with sleepers, Crocs, or anything other than professional or dressy fashionable attire and shoes! That was very disappointing to see in one particular store. Aside from store themes, which btw were so much fun! But I could tell it wasn't during my vist, that is a no for me and should not be ok with any management at any store. The only store I loved the customer service at was Perfume Gallery, because the gentleman who helped me was so polite the entire time.
The food court area is ok in appearance and the food is always great! We got food at 5 different restaurants and the servings were generous and I feel I got my money's worth there!
Now, the bathrooms in the food court area are so disappointing. They keep them ok but the smell hasn't left since I worked there and is just horrible. I would suggest the NFC Administration to invest in better vents and aromatizers for the bathrooms. I had to go and wash my hands so I could eat and I truly almost lost my appetite after visiting the ladies bathroom.
I feel that stores at NFC need to pay more attention to the small details to create a better shopping and dining experience for everyone. Overall, it is a good place to shop but I...
Read moreOk so, even though about 8 years ago this is the mall where, in broad daylight, outside of the Macy's store area, my car was broken into (stereo stolen ☹️), it's still receiving five stars today. Why? Clean, safe, lots of parking, relatively close to where I live, and they have stores which seem to have closed in most other locations. Such as; a Hickory Farms (kiosk only) in December, and a delicious, super-fattening Cinnabon store! (See pics) If you're someone who likes being the "hero" of your family, group, lol, or pack, then buying a 24 pack of their small cinnamon rolls, OR a 6 pack of their GIANT rolls, will undoubtedly ensure hero status for you! Plus they have coffee drinks to help revive one! 👍🤣 Also they have their pecan rolls... So DELICIOUS. Anyway, where was I before I got distracted by reporting the food options 😆 oh right, I like this mall because they have a lot of stores, a good variety of yummy food options, and (see pic) even massage chairs to relax and rethink your mission. You must pay...$5/15 mins was what I selected. I also saw a gentleman offering chair massages. I can reach this mall from home without the need to hit a freeway. Huge plus. I wish they had a Nordstroms or Bloomingdale's too, but overall it's got a good variety of shopping options.👏 And currently, Santa, himself,...
