Response to the manager’s reply to my previous review: The statements made in your response are completely false. My daughters service dog was not on a retractable leash it was wearing a mobility harness. Second, she never even made it to the vendor tables, (before you came and harassed her) let alone sniffed any food. You're fabricating details to justify your discriminatory behavior.
It is illegal to deny access to a legitimate service animal under the ADA. Yet this market chose to do so, which is a clear violation of federal law. I want to make others aware that this market discriminates against disabled individuals by denying access to service animals.
The manager’s response not only includes fabricated claims but also reflects a pattern of unprofessional and hostile behavior toward disabled people, as shown in other reviews as well. The response from the market is deeply upsetting and unacceptable.
I am now pursuing legal action against the market for their discriminatory behavior and fabricated claims. If you or someone you know has experienced the same please...
Read moreSaw other people have the same problem. The Vendors are amazing, but the man in charge of the market is so rude and unprofessional. I came in with a registered service animal and he yelled in my face about the “law”. I was getting something from the first booth in the market and he said I could not keep- in mind it’s a parking lot. Don’t bring your service animals there cause the man will treat you horribly. He didn’t even start off being kind, I understand it’s a law for safety but I will be reporting him. She is a medical alert dog because I have seizures and faint, But I have horrible anxiety, so I was not able to defend myself, but the way he came and approached me from the start was rude. I had a nervous breakdown because of it. It is a law that service animals can be with me especially in an outside parking lot . It is the same manager in the review from three years ago with someone having the same problem. to me it’s not about the fact that there can’t be dogs there (though she is 100% allowed to be there as she is a registered SD) it’s the way he...
Read moreThe good: There are several vendors that have a variety of different things that are all very nice. There are vendors for seafood, fresh produce, flowers, sauces, local honey, mushrooms, bread, fruit, and much more. Menotti's mobile cafe was also there for those looking for a fresh start to their morning with a cup of their delicious brews. The area itself was clean and not super crowded. None of the vendors had long lines, so it was a pleasant experience to be able to look without feeling rushed.
The bad: Several of the vendors only accept cash, so if you arrive late and want to buy some flowers with your card or phone — you will be unable to do so. When you ask them where the nearest ATM is, they don't know. So overall, you need to make sure you bring cash to deal with some of these vendors or you won't be able to give them your business.
Square offers free card readers for any business, and you can accept tips on their software as well. It would just make sense in modern society to be able to accept multiple payment methods to...
