LADOT Lot 731 — Local services in Los Angeles

On our travels to Venice Beach we were looking for a place to park our rental car. After driving around for over an hour we finally found a parking lot. It was the only one that had any spots in it and after we paid $20 to park there, and walked closer towards the beach, we realized why it was mostly empty. It was more than double to four times surprise of parking areas that were right on the beach....

DON'T COME HERE! Extortion - they charge a $20 flat rate when the park across the street is half of the price! If you are planning to park in this location, please do yourself a favor and go to the 'Beach Parking' on Venice Boulevard ($10) or the actual parking at the beach ($9). I visited this place on 31st December and they charged flat $15, which is very expensive. I thought there won't be any space available near beach and parked here.
