i went into gamestop to trade in my xbox series X. when i went in for the trade in they advised that their TV was not compatible with the xbox, we were asked to come back the next day when the manager was in. upon our return the next day the manager wouldn’t even talk directly to us, he would only speak through the sales rep even though we were standing right there. the tv was saying out of range the resolution on their tv which was old resolution was not high enough to work with the xbox, same thing that happened the day before. but today i even brought my monitor with me to show that it works. the manager again talked through the sales rep and said it doesn’t matter they were going to tag it as refurbished. which means less for my trade in. the manager insisted it was my xbox and not their old tv.they wanted me to accept less money so they would turn around and sale it for more. fortunately i was able to privately sell it and the buyer asked if he could test it. there was no problem hooking it up to his today, came right on.this is my 2nd time posting this review because my first one was deleted and i will continue to repost review every time it is taken down. i just want to make people aware of this GameStop and its shady practice. out of all places I would expect gamestop to have equipment to support all the game...

He also refused to take games back that were trade ins claiming they where scratched to much when they weren't constantly kept pressuring me in get warranties when I didn't blamed me for his numbers going down when I canceled a preorder and made up many lies about prices going up on systems that are not going up and then denying that others systems are going up again.my wife was very uncomfortable with all of this and he even lied about games having no value because he didn't do his job right. He also insulted the district manager and insulated other stores saying they don't know how to do there job. I know this will fall on deaf ears but needed...
Read moreI don't normally go into the actual store for GameStop. However, I was in the area and thought I'd swing by, since I haven't been in a GameStop in years. I wanted to look at the games and see what was new. I walked into the store, out of the 2 guys, neither of them greeted me. I was looking around for maybe 2 minutes before the one guy comes up to me and says "just to let you know we do close In about 10 minutes." They didn't say "hello" or "hi" when I first walked in. When it's getting close to them closing they decide that it's time to kick everyone out. I get it, nobody wants to be at work when they could be closing. However, GameStop isn't doing too well. It's insane to see the "customer service" people, basically kick out customers, because it's getting close to them closing. If people act like that they shouldn't be working in...
