Loved The Secret Garden especially the area with the bridge. Unfortunately, when we were there, the flowers were just past peak, though, I think they constantly change out the flowers. We had gone the day after a hail storm, which probably didn't help and flattened, what I believe were tulips, but it was still absolutely beautiful regardless. I'd recommend going early in the day. We were there a little before 130 during the Lilac Festival Week on a Tuesday (mid-June). It wasn't busy or crowded, but I imagine going early in the morning, there are even less people, which would contribute to the Secret...

Breath taking. Big up the grounds staff who plants these flowers and keeps the area clean. They do an amazing job throughout the year because as the seasons change so do the flowers. The garden is definitely secret but easy to find. Way more beautiful than these photos display. It’s a great place to take photos essentially wedding pics but just be mindful of other visitors. The garden is small and everyone is there to take nice pictures, be considerate.

It’s not really a must do on your Mackinac Island todolist but is a nice addition. If you get a chance to check...

What an awesome garden. We had to circle the grounds to finally find the entrance, but find it we did. We heard voices within, which alerted us to go to the right opening and get inside. The different types of flowers were so pretty, and it was secluded enough that it was still serene and largely without blemish. Be sure to clean up after yourself, and don’t let your kids or pets dig up any of the beautiful flowers! Keep this place nice for others as well...
