I only wish I wouldâve read the reviews prior to booking our party. Admittedly, I procrastinated on planning my sonâs second birthday and was scrambling to find a place. He loves dinosaurs and we had been here once before for open play so I figured why not. We booked the âwild dino roomâ or âvolcano roomâ, whichever they actually call it, and were super disappointed. It costs $325 for the room for 2 hours but in reality after adding on extra food and drinks it ends up being just under $500. The descriptions online are EXTREMELY confusing and deceiving. One page says outside food and drinks are not allowed, yet another page says they ARE, just no allergen foods. I even called to ask if we could bring snacks for before the pizza was served and was told no. Then WHY does your website say itâs allowed? Another page says we can have 30 guests maximum, yet another page says the room capacity is 16âŠand let me tell you 16 people fitting in that room is a STRETCH. Iâve never seen a tinier party room. Half of our guests had to sit in the main lobby area because we couldnât breathe being all squished in this room together. The pizza was mediocre, our âparty hostâ did nothing besides rush us out. The paper products they supply are dollar store white paper plates and clear plastic cups. Our rental was from 12-2 and at 1:45 our âhostâ was in our room mopping around our guests feet, throwing our stuff away, and dumping our pitchers of pop which we paid $8 a piece for. We even told her to leave the room we still had time left yet she just kept coming back. I understand they have time limits but we still had the room that we paid for. The play scape was filthy, the bathrooms were foul, and I honestly ended up being embarrassed to have our families spend an afternoon there because of us. $500 to host a party there and was nothing but disappointed.
Edit to add to the businessâ response-those descriptions both popped up as we were booking online through YOUR location. If itâs not supposed to be that way, then you need to correct your website. And if you are still claiming 30 people could fit in that room between the 2 small tables and the 2 3-foot benches, you must be insane. You may claim that you clean but as others have also mentioned in their reviews, itâs not clean. I am still extremely disappointed in our experience and want others to know before they waste...
Read moreI had my daughter's birthday party here over the weekend and was very disappointed with the experience. Both of my kids love coming here to play for normal open play so my daughter was very excited to have her birthday here. I booked the VIP T-Rex room which according to the website and booking comes with 25 minutes to set up, about a week before the party I was informed that I would actually only have 10 minutes to set up the party since they had a party booked before and would need time to clean up. This left me scrambling to make sure everything would be set by the time the guests started to arrive. While booking it also says you get a party host, based on party's I have attended at other play centers I was under the impression that I would have someone to help with the event but this was not the case at all I had to go find a staff member whenever I needed anything in the room for my party whether it was plates, cups, utensils or other party needs. Once the food came out the pizzas were not actually cut through and no serving utensils were given to pass the pizza out to 20 hungry kids. One pizza had to be sent back because it was baked into the mesh pan and unable to be served, when our drinks ran out I asked a staff member about purchasing more and was told I would have to find my "party host" I received my refills fully knowing I would have to pay for them but was no aware that I would be required to pay for them in the middle of setting up the kids to sing happy birthday. After my sister complained I was given a $14 refund for the 2 extra pitchers I bought during the party and an apology from who I think was the "party host". Overall this just wasn't the experience I was expecting and not worth paying double the money to have 5 additional children...
Read moreVery fun play area but would never host another party here. We selected 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm with a 1:00 pm selection for the food. This would give the kids an hour or so to play then food, cake, and gifts. All of the food came late and at different times. Chicken tenders and fries at 1:15 pm (along with fruit tray and veggie tray), one pizza at 1:30 pm and the other pizza at 1:40 pm. Oh and their pop machine was down so the only option was lemoande. I got them to give us one lemonade and one picture of a slushie, which they also tried to charge us for. You would think they could have went to Target or something right in their parking lot to get some 2 liters of pop to accomodate all of those paying lots of money for birthday parties that day (I know their other guess were also frustrated by this). Needless to say, we had 30 guests and some were watching others eat while waiting for the pizza. Very unorganized, especially for the $550 we were paying. Not to mention, by the time everyone got done eating due to the food being so late, we had 10 minutes left to sing happy birthday, eat cake, and open only a few gifts before we were rushed out of there so they could set up for their next party. After much discussion with the acting manager, we were given a small amount of money off of our tab. Not enough to make up for all of the stress. We will never have another party here. I am usually very non-confrontational but my Mom friend who has hosted TONS of parties said this was the worst she has ever seen and she actually talked to the acting manager before I did because she was so upset for us. It is a shame because before this we were pretty regular customers, coming there 1 to 2...
