Needed a haircut that was inexpensive so I decided to give this place a try due to all the great reviews and 10yrs of business. Let me say she’s a sweet lady. I told her I wanted a cut. I showed her pictures, (3 angles) of what type of cut I wanted. I asked her if she will be able to cut like the picture I showed her. And she told me yeah yeah. My hair was down to my waist. Wanted a medium length bob cut and what I got was not even close to what I showed her. She barely uses the scissor to cut around, she basically went in and started using a hair razor and razored all over. After she’s done, she doesn’t take the time to sanitize her hair tools for the next customer(s). Went here after my sister had a pleasant experience. As others have stated, it's ran by an older Korean woman that isn't proficient in English. I took the advice of others and just brought a picture and that worked out great, you may also get lucky and one of her Korean customers that are also waiting may help with some translation. The place (aesthetic wise) is a bit outdated, but that says nothing about the owner's skill, after all, I'm here for a haircut. The kind lady runs a 1 person shop. Between her not speaking English and me not speaking Korean, we got by with pointing, hand scissor gestures and 1 common term "layer" between us. I got a great cut, kept most of my length over my eyes.
